Normally weddings are planned for at least a year. Sa kaso namin isang buwan. Hands on yung parents ko at parents ni Shar pati na yung office mates namin. Our lovestory isn't hidden sa mga kapitbahay. Parang ang bilis na tinanggap ng lahat. Ni walang element of surprise. For some reason everyone knows we will end up together. Sabi nga nila we are meant to be. Kami lang daw talaga yung manhid.

Mas matindi pa sa kaba ko noong SATS exam yung kaba na nararamdaman ko ngayon. Panay punas ko ng pawis. Nanlalamig yung kamay ko. I saw my dad and my mum with Shar's parents. They are welcoming the guest outside.

"Relax" Naramdaman kong may humawak sa balikat ko. I saw Ricci, the best man.

After a week, Shar reach out to Ricci again to see if he is okay. Fun fact he is so much better now. Iba pala talaga yung wala kang tinatago pero siyempre hindi pa rin lahat alam yung totoo. Ricci says he is working on the ways to tell his parents pati na sa new found love niya. We saw them. Parehas na guwapo. Natawa pa ko kase nararamdaman kong medyo binabakuran ako ni Shar. For the first time. Off limits daw ako. To our surprise si Ricci pa nagprisintang maging best man.

I said yes kase hindi naman pwedeng si Shar ang best man ko dahil siya yung pakakasalan ko. I'm marrying my best friend so we need to get the closest guy. Ricci is perfect kase kahit may internal battles siya, inalagaan niya si Shar and I saw how he love her.

"Thank you pare" Tumango lang naman siya. His partner is part of the entourage.

Nakita ko pa kung paano mag ready sila Miles, Kristel , Xia , Sera at Gwen. Gwen introduce her sister Ayzel to organise the wedding para income pa rin daw. Umoo nalang ako. Tried and tested naman na. Pinilit kong silipin si Shar kaso the girls stopped me. Surprise daw dapat.

Di ako mapakali when we were asked to stand by sa mga spots namin. Shit. This is really is it. The day I am waiting for. On my peripheral vision I saw Arturo Daza. Tumango siya. I'll never forget the freakin face. Siya una kong pinagselosan. I am so glad he did not pursue her. On a good side, he seems like he is with his pregnant korean looking wife.

I fixed my cuffs. They opened the door. I swear I literally held back my breathing. Shar is wearing a pure white wedding gown. Ni hindi ko na nga napansin yung details. Parang naka slow motion lahat. Kahit may belo siya I can still see it clearly.

Parang anghel na bumaba sa lupa si Sharlene. Pakiramdam ko isanlibong taon yung tagal bago siya naka abot sa altar. Humugot ako ng malalim na hininga noong nasa harap ko na si Shar.

The reverend asked us to exchange vows. Shar looked at me.

" Donny, you have been my best friend, mentor, playmate, confidant, and my greatest challenge. But most importantly, you are the love of my life " I saw how tears streamed down her face. Kapwa kami umiiyak. May mga onion ninjas ba dito? pumapatak yung luha ko. Unlimited mga pare. She held my hand

"You make me happier than I could ever imagine and more loved than I ever thought possible. You have made me a better person, as our love for one another is reflected in the way I live my life. So I am truly blessed to be a part of your life, which as of today becomes our life together. Take this ring as a symbol and proof of my promise to stay with you forever" When she said her vow sisigok sigok ako. I am a crying mess. Sharlene placed the ring on my finger.

" Shar, You were my reason back then, my reason now, my reason every day. You strengthen my weaknesses, bring focus to my dreams. Here and now I pledge my life to yours, that your dreams become my dreams. No matter where life leads me, I know that as long as you are there, that is where I am meant to be so take this ring as a symbol and proof of my promise to stay with you forever. I love you" I slip the ring on her hands.

" You may now kiss the bride" The reverend asked us.

Slowly and gently I pull her close. I lift her veil. I kissed this many times but I will never get enough of this lips. When I closed our gap. I heard everybody clap. Finally after many years she's mine now. She's Sharlene San Pedro Pangilinan.

There's nothing I can wish for anymore.

Sydney Australia - 9 am

"DONATO ANTONIO PANGILINAN MAPAPATAY KITA!" sigaw ni Sharlene habang sabunot yung buhok ko. Itinutulak namin ng ilang nurse saka doctor yung stretcher. Namumula yung sentido ko kase pinanggigigilan niya talaga.

" Sorry na love"

"Hinding hindi na ko magbubuntis ulit! Ayoko na" Pulang pula si Shar. Iyak ng iyak. Pumutok na kase yung panubigan niya. Sa lahat naman ng sasaktuhan dito pa sa Sydney habang binibisita namin sina mama.

"Ikaw dapat nagiire ng bata dito" Nakasabunot pa rin siya sa ulo ko.

"Oo love sorry na. Kung pwede lang. Sige lang sabunutan mo lang ako" Goodbye thick and wavy hair.

Pagpasok sa delivery room, gustong umurong ng sikmura ko. I was forced to watch it. Kung paano lumabas yung anak namin. Katakot takot na sabunot ang nangyari sakin. Ginawang stress ball ni Sharlene yung buhok ko. Pinabayaan ko na.

Sabay kaming napapasigaw sa sakit. Kaya noong maideliver safely yung anak kong babae anlaking relief din. Napanot yata ako pero nawala na sa isip ko. Ang ganda ng anak ko. Antangos ng ilong.

"Buti nalang hindi sa mummy mo mana yung ilong mo"

" Hayop ka Antonio" I looked at my wife na tumulo na yata lahat ng liquid na pwedeng tumulo. Pero unti unti ding nagbago yung expression niya when she had a thorough look at me.

"Luh Dodong sorry. Para kang narape ng sampung maton na kabayo" I looked at my torn shirt. Ramdam ko pa rin yung kakaibang sakit sa anit ko. Pati na yung mga kalmot sa muka ko.

"It's ok love. Thank you so much for being my wife and the mother of my child" I saw her smile.

The nurse proceeded on cutting the umbilical cord saka nila nilinis. They tried to make my baby cry para daw malaman kung buhay ba o hindi kase tahimik, kaso tumawa. May dalawang dimple pa.

"What will be her name?" tanong ng isa sa mga nurse "Solana" Shar said.

"Your wife has quite of a pain tolerance." Nangiwi nalang ako. Baka ang ibig sabihin ng nurse, I have a high pain tolerance. Grabe yung sabunot na inabot ko e nevertheless I am just glad I have this now.

A family where it's me, Shar and our new baby Solana.

Eto na yung ending mga kapusong ube! I won't stretch it anymore. Alam naman na natin yung ending. Thank you sa pagbasa.
