As promised, the driver shows up, right at seven, in a Tesla. I've always wanted to ride in one, so I guess today is my lucky day.
The interior is so captivating. Now I wish I would've ridden in one sooner.
I look to the right of me, and there lays a small Tiffany & Co. bag on the seat that says Shay open me!... he didn't! Shit, he did!
I can't help the smile that appears on my face as I reach for the small bag.
This man really knows how to impress a lady.
I open the tiny bag, and inside there is a little box with a note on top that says, " This is only the beginning ❤️.
Oh my gosh! A tear trickles from my eye, and my heart aches for this winsome man.
Whoever thought he could be so caring and for me, of all people. I don't deserve him.
I open the box, and my heart melts. It's an 18k Rose Gold Charm Bracelet with a key and a heart hanging from it. I look closer, and my name is engraved inside the key, and his name is engraved into the heart.
Wow, I'm the key to his heart. I'm at a loss for words. He really went all out for this!
After driving for a bit, the driver begins gazing at me through the rearview mirror. I'm so focused on admiring my gift from Justin that I don't even notice his glare. I've been gawking at my bracelet the entire ride.
Still looking at me, he finally speaks up, "You must be someone special?".
Removing my eyes from my beautiful charm bracelet that I can't get enough of, I look at him through the rearview mirror and reply, "I guess so" I smile shyly, then return back to looking at my charm bracelet.
"I have never seen Mr. Michaels do this for any of the other ladies he partakes in," he responds, eyeing me with a smile on his face.
"Really? I sure can't tell by the way he treats me." I respond with a raised eyebrow because he has now sparked my curiosity.
"Well, most of the women he dates, are one night stands. You should see the way they throw their selves at him, it's pitiful but also hilarious. Just because he's wealthy." He shakes his head in astonishment, returning his attention back to the road.
He continues, "he runs through them like a damn marathon. So, I'm guessing you are special if he is buying you gifts and going out of his way to make sure this date is super special".
He comes to a complete halt, putting the car into park.
I guess we have finally arrived, but I can't see anything through these tinted windows, so I have no clue where we are. But I can't help but think about what he just said about Justin having many women, but am I actually surprised? Most good-looking men, like Justin, are players. Plus, him having money is just an added appeal that attracts women like magnets.
I can care less because I can provide for myself, but I can see why other women will be interested in it. I just was never that woman that needed a man to take care of me when I can take care of myself, but I'll never turn down gifts or a date.
I just hope he knows and understands that I will not be the next victim of his womanizing ways. But the driver did say that I was special, so maybe he is trying to change for me. I'm not sure, but I'm ready to see what he has planned. It must be something special if the driver is mentioning it to me.
I wonder how long the driver has known him because he's an older man. He has to be in his late 40's or early 50's at the least. Plus, he knows so much about the women he's dated. So I'm guessing he has known Justin for a while.
