Rosik did indeed choose to throw Oliver not once, not twice but three times down the staircase.

I had screamed my throat raw, snot and tears mixed into my gag as I realised the severity of the situation.

No beating is kind but I was at least hoping for it to be quick and easy to tend afterwards.

This is killing him.

After the second throw Oliver stopped responding, his eyes glazed over and you'd think that the dead weight was a large enough sign to stop but of course Rosik ignored it.

There is now a deep gash hidden somewhere on Oliver's skull that is gushing blood down the side of his neck, there is splattered blood dripping all down the staircase and the smell causes me to retch.

I'd attempted to stumble to my feet to interfere but a quick threat from Rosik kept my in place for another life threatening throw.

But now the blood is gushing out of his head, I can't witness another murder and I can't lose Oliver now that he's back in my life.
Willingly or not, he and I need each other.

So just as Rosik adjusts Oliver's collar and patronisingly brushes some dirt off of his shoulder I force my body onto its feet, using the wall as leverage to fling my body forward just as Oliver is tossed backwards down the stairs for the third time.

Unfortunately I'm not quick enough to stop him from hitting the first two steps but my energised movement flings me up the stairs at such speeds that my head spins, but that's the least of my worries as Olivers body hurtles towards me.

Rosik swears harshly as I freeze and attempt to catch Olivers body with my bounded hands.
Neither Rosik nor I expecting it to work and I clench my eyes shut as my body is now shoved backwards and the both of us slam into the stairs.

Thankfully I managed to grip onto Oliver's hair and while I'm sure that it would hurt while he was conscious he doesn't react as I force his head against my chest, blocking out the unforgiving cement and protecting his abused skull as much as I can while my body receives the punishment.

I scream out into the gag as my body is abused by each concrete step, my head does take a few hits but it's my back that receives the worst as my spine screams out in agony.

I remain conscious thankfully as we finally collapse on a pile on the ground and although there is a strong buzzing in my ears I still hear Rosiks rapid footsteps hurrying towards us.

"What the fuck were you thinking?!" Rosik thunders are he reaches us and momentarily his rage overtakes him as he aims a sharp kick into my side, causing another soundless cry to burst from me.

Noticing my look of pain Rosik grits his teeth and gives his head a firm shake.

He doesn't offer an apology, not that I'd accept it anyway and instead grasps another handful of Olivers hair and rips him away from me, ignoring my pitiful attempt to keep him against me.

Rosik drags Oliver back over to the stairs and I force myself back onto my knees, ignoring the burning in my back.
Worried that he'll throw Oliver again but instead Rosik pushes Olivers face onto the bottom step.

Rosik forces Olivers mouth open so that he would be biting the step if he was conscious and I stare in morbid curiosity as Rosik adjusts Olivers unconscious body.

Satisfied with the position Rosik then stands to his full height and rests his foot on the back of Oliver's skull.

My instincts scream at me that a stomp from the angle will without a doubt kill Oliver so stumbling back onto my feet I force myself to fight my other instincts and I stagger towards Rosik, my back bent like a withered elderly citizen.
