Emerald: I can't believe it...

Y/N: Why's my dad up there?

Mercury: Beats me

They all looked to see Paragus at the front of the class with Glynda who looked hesitant, not finding someone of his age capable of physically teaching someone about combat.

Paragus: Today i'll be combatting you against eachother, to test your capabilities. Team RWBY and Pyrrha Nikos are reported absent, so i'll be restricted in my choices. Sun Wukong, and Y/N

This caused Y/N to immediately stand up, basically programmed to follow his father's orders. As he went down Mercury and Emerald watched, curious as to what the older male's plan was.

On the other hand, Cinder held nothing but hate for the faunas, so she looked forward to the fight, hoping he'd get beaten. Sun soon joined him in the arena and took note of Y/N's tail around his waist.

Sun: Oh, hey! Didn't expect to find another faunas like me, small world

Paragus: Begin!

As soon as he said that their aura's appeared on a large monitor along with a picture of their face. Paragus' words rung out in Y/N, causing him to charge towards the fellow faunas with a rage in his eyes.

Watts: If you don't mind me asking, why are you interested in Y/N?

Over in Salem's castle the Grimm queen sat in her throne as she had Watts go through files and databases filled with years of old information, dating back 17 years. Leaning back in her seat she glanced to him.

Salem: His existence is a perplexing one. Being raised out here would require a person to be quite resilient, and his abilities peak my interests

Watts: His semblance?

Salem: Yes. He activated it in a brief skirmish with Cinder, yet something felt off about it. Unlike magic, or auras... something n-

She was cut off when a ping went off due to Watts' scroll. Glancing over Salem saw him bring up some files before he slid the device to her which she stopped with her hand.

Looking down to it Salem raised an eyebrow and took her hand back, reading through what was on display before a faint hum escaped from her. Sitting up straight she lifted her hand, causing a red light to glow around the scroll as it floated to her.

Salem: His hospital records. He was not a day out the womb before taken away, the mother was nowhere to be found again. But due to Y/N's disappearance, she flew into a fit of rage and killed 6 staff

Watts: Oh my. She must've been quite the experienced Huntress then

Salem: That's the thing. No one knows who she was, she refused to give a name and there wasn't any records on her. The only thing that's described is her black spiky hair, black eyes and brown faunas tail

Watts: Like mother like son. Sound similar enough, but both have odd existences. It does make me wonder how Paragus ended up with someone like that

Salem: Indeed... he's been hiding something from us

Back at Beacon Sun jumped back to avoid Y/N's attack and glanced to the screen, seeing their aura levels. Despite landing hits on the teen, his aura hadn't gone down which confused him.

In the stands RWBY and Pyrrha rejoined the class and went over to the rest of team JNPR, glancing into the arena to watch them. Y/N stood there as he clenched his fists, his teeth gritted.
