Alex and Ollie sat at the island talking about nonsense while Oliver simultaneous did his homework. They were waiting for Harry to make them a snack, and in Alex's opinion, it was taking too long. He didn't know or understand what was happening with Wesley and Harry at the moment, only caring about the fact that food was yet to be in his stomach.

Ollie on the other hand was well informed on the mishaps of his older brother and the punishment that was being administered by his oldest brother.

Ollie knew that his normal behavior wouldn't slide at the moment what with the newest addition to the family and the stress it was causing Harry. Ollie planned on completing his homework and keeping up with his chores until Harry was back to his normal self as he didn't want to risk getting a stress induced punishment like Wes.

Harry would never admit it, but the extra child in the house was a bit... well, stressful to say the least. But he wasn't going to be the person to kick the poor kid out just because he wasn't getting some decent sleep.

He wasn't a monster.

As Harry exited his room and walked to the kitchen to ready a snack for the boys, he couldn't help but think how Alex had come to live with them at a time that shouldn't've been so stressful.

Wes was maturing and Harry should be there to help him go through that, not punish him for tiny things that wouldn't matter in the long run.

Preparing apple slices and pb & j's for Ollie and Alex, he carried a plate to Wes's room, but not before complimenting Ollie for doing his homework.

He knocked on Wes's door before attempting to enter, but the door was locked.

"Wes, open the door please!" Harry called from the outside.

"Why? So you can come and beat me? I think the fuck not." Wes said sarcastically.

"No, Wes. I'm not here to punish you. I'm here to give you your snack and tell you to start on your homework."

Silence.

And then Wes quickly unlocked the door, snatched the food from Harry's hands, and locked the door back. This time, effectively slamming the door in Harry's face.

Taken aback, Harry frowned and gave the door two forceful knocks.

"Wesley Donald Easley, you open this door right now! We nee-!"

"No!"

"Wesley..." He said in a warning tone.

"I fucking hate you, Harrison Mitchell Easley! Leave me alone. I'm not coming out! Don't worry though, you have two other kids out there to be your brothers. I quit for the night." Wesley screamed through the door. He heard the squish of the bed being sat on and sighed, realizing that Wes wasn't planning on giving in.

"Fine Wes. Unlock the door and do your homework. Go to be before midnight, I'll see you in the morning."

The next morning went smoothly. Harry worried when he only saw Alex and Ollie downstairs eating breakfast but relaxed when he saw Wes dressed with his hair done and his backpack on. He was going to ask if he'd had breakfast in the car, but one look from the boy told him that he would blow if he was spoken to.

They dropped Alex off at Brendon's house before going to school and all was well for the first few periods.

That was until he saw his "buddy" being escorted by Mr. Ozobu.

Uh oh... I hope Jackson isn't in trouble.

"Hello Mr. Easley. I heard you were Jackson's private buddy and just thought I'd come with him, to see you."

"I see. So Jackson here isn't in any trouble?" Harry asked, giving Jack a look. After all, Jack did look a little suspicious, what with his slouching and frowning. It made Harry think he was in trouble.

"No, little Jackson is not in any trouble. However, your brother is. Yesterday he went about, yelling and cursing in my class! Acting a plum fool, of you ask me. And when I told the boy to settle down, well, all he did was curse at me. The little devil!"

"Wesley cursed at both you and during class?"

"That is correct."

Harry couldn't contain his anger without letting his mood show on his face. He was not only disappointed in Wesley, but he was angered that the boy would dare to embarrass him at work.

Sitting down at his desk, he picked up the school phone and dialed the number of a random seventh grade teacher, asking if they'd allow Jackson to be in their class for the day. The teacher agreed and let Jackson on his way, reminding him to keep up the good behavior.

He gestured for Mr. Ozobu to sit down while he called up Wesley's current teacher, asking for the boy to report to the main principal's office, immediately.

Wes walked at a snails pace toward his older brothers office. He didn't know why he was being asked to go to the office, but he knew he was still angry at him and didn't want to be bothered with whatever lecture the older was planning.

However, when Wes opened the door to the principal's office and saw his most hated teacher sitting in front of his brothers desk, he knew he was in for it.
