After the events of the valley city's destruction and the multiple kingdoms destroyed single handedly by king Reinlas the magic had gotten to him and knocked him out until the next day where he woke with massive headache and a pain in his soul as he remembers the events of the previous day.
"Dammit Farenhale why didn't you just leave the city?" Reinlas asks himself
Laraka knocks on the door.
"My king are you alright?" Laraka asks
"No, no where close" Reinlas says sorrowful
Kylorn flies out of his scabbard.
"Do you remember what happened Reinlas?" Kylorn asks him
"Only seeing Farenhales body without the illusion magic before it all went dark" Reinlas says
"We destroyed four kingdoms" Kylorn says
"Fucking what?" Reinlas asks
"Some kind of magic took over both of us or more accurately it took over you then me through you and everyone responsible in those kingdoms for the valley city massacre where destroyed by shadow creatures of their own nightmares" Kylorn says
"What the fuck? why don't I remember this?" Reinlas asks
"My guess? The magic is which took over you also put too much strain on your mind, body and soul and after it knocked you out it erased your memory of the destruction" Kylorn says
"But not of what caused it..." Reinlas says getting up putting his armour on
He opens his room door and walks to the throne room with laraka after kylorn goes back in his scabbard, when they reach the throne room which felt like a marathon for Reinlas's body even though it was just a few doors down they see Linra. Linra looks over and teleports over hugging Reinlas.
"Are you alright my love?" Linra asks concerned
"I am fine, do not worry" Reinlas says with a smile
"I'm glad your alright Reinlas" Linra says joyful though she is incredibly sad because of what happened yesterday
"Whats been going on?" Reinlas asks as he hugs her back but also knows the kingdom is likely freaking out
"The people are panicking and looking to us for direction but you were unconscious so I had to step in to weather the storm till you woke and a decision could be made" Linra says
"What has been done about the dead in the valley city?" Reinlas asks
"We sent part of the army with people to the city to get the dead and have them buried there has been no attack as of yet due to well..." Linra says
"What I did" Reinlas says
"Yes" Linra says
"What of farenhale?" Reinlas asks
"His body was the first to be brought back for burial in the royal tomb but his funeral hasn't been done yet as rightly you should be there" Linra says
"Right..." Reinlas says
"On a lighter note people from those kingdoms you destroyed have come here for protection from 'The King of Shadows' as they referred to you as" Linra says
"Such a weird name" Reinlas says
"Given what you became its rather fitting" Linra says
"Became?" Reinlas asks
Linra uses her magic to show Reinlas as the shadow he became from what Laraka showed her.
"By the rest of the first..." Reinlas says astonished
