The day after the battle in the mountain range Reinholm is filled with happy civilians and soldiers alike with the knowledge that more of the first survive. Reinlas wakes up with Linra and both teleport clothes and armour on then teleport to the throne room and sit on their thrones. Laraka teleports there and stands next to the thrones as Liara and Farenisle walk in. After a few minutes Gheranto and Itimkrata walk in with guards bowing to them.
"Itimkrata, Gheranto, good morning" Reinlas says
"Likewise Reinlas. We do hope you are alright after yesterday" Gheranto and itimkrata says
"My magic is rather depleted but fine for the most part" Reinlas says
"Fair enough" Gheranto says as he looks around at everyone else
"Who are the rest of you? We are woefully behind given we were forced into exiled territory to survive" Itimkrata says
"I am Linra, Reinlas's wife and queen" Linra says
"Pleasure to meet you, wish we had long ago" Itimkrata and gheranto says
"Likewise but no time like the present" Linra says
Itimkrata and Gheranto look at Farenisle and liara.
"Doesnt take much to guess you two are their children" Gheranto says
"Indeed, I am Liara" Liara says
"And I am Farenisle" Farenisle says
Laraka steps forward.
"I am Laraka, leader of the elite warriors of the kingdom including the soldiers in this castle" Laraka says
"Good to meet you all" Gheranto and itimkrata says
Kylorn floats out of his scabbard and infront of reinlas.
"I am Kylorn the living blade forged by Reinlas" Kylorn says
Both Gheranto and Itimkrata look very confused.
"I didnt believe it either at first but yes its true" Reinlas says as he grabs Kylorn and sheathes him again
"Alright then" Gheranto and Itimkrata say
"Now, I have a question for you two. What the hell have you both been doing all these years?" Reinlas asks
"Our own war with Keireen clearly didn't go well, our defences were not the best we didnt anticipate him attacking after all he claimed the kingdoms before ours were responsible for his parents assassination. He breezed past our defences and while we adapted quickly he was much better" Gheranto says
"Indeed. My golems sure as shit made him work for a win as the ground turned against him he took the skies which became a lightning storm thanks to Gheranto" Itimkrata says
"I got the soldiers under his command to turn against him with the lightning, if I so wish the lightning takes away ones fear and lets me control them slightly so the ones that were only following him because they were scared shitless now attacked him. That severely pissed him off and he butchered soldiers and their families to prove a point that no matter if his soldiers dont fear him ours definitely will. If I used my lightning on our people even if they know I wont hurt them it still wont look good" Gheranto says
"In our final battle Keireen killed most of our royal guard and then took as much magic from us as possible so much so that for years after we couldnt use magic, dont know how he managed it but we had to live like that for years even taking care of our injuries manually. When we finally got it back we started fighting by ourselves against our own people, that hurt us inside but we never killed them we couldnt knowing their families gave their lives for us. Eventually the war beasts came and we didnt know what they were hell we still dont but they scared the shit out of us enough for us to try and avoid them as much as possible" Itimkrata says
