~Chapter 1~ School

[Hailie's P.O.V.]

Today Alaina, Whitney and I are going back to school. Daddy didn't wake us up today as he's on tour so uncle Nate did. I headed to the bathroom with a heavy ball in my stomach. I always felt stressed with this kind of events and Nate knew that. He knocked on the bathroom door then I took a deep breath and opened the door.

"You okay?" He asked, feeling concerned

I nodded my head yes softly as I looked down. "I wish Daddy was here on this kind of day.." I said, holding back tears.

He sighed softly as he pulled me into a tight hug. He let go of me after awhile as Whitney called him. I finally took a shower and got dressed then I pulled my hair in a high ponytail and did my make up. I went back in my bedroom as I heard my phone ring. This was a text from daddy.

"Hey baby, I hope you doing good? I'm sorry for not being there today but you know my job... I promise I'll catch up. Love you." I cried silently at his words as I threw my phone on my bed.
