It was three months after. I was enjoying life now, I knew that I wouldn't be a monster. Dad said sorry to me and we were friends again, which was good. Kanron and I talked about having another sibling and thought it a good idea. But little did I know that Auntie Elsa was watching me.

***

It was a Wednesday and I was in the courtyard of the castle. Smudges was on my lap, purring. I held my kitten close and felt safe. I couldn't take her with me to Northuldra because she would freeze. But having her around with me now was comforting.

"Are you okay, Adelade?" She asked stretching her paws.

I smiled and held them, massaging them.

"Yes, girl." I admitted

"Are you sure?" Smudges stared at my brown eyes. "You look worried about something."

"Just the fact that one day I'll be queen." I bit my lip. "I think things will go wrong before then!"

"Why?" Asked the cat.

"Not sure!" I sighed.

I looked at the castle. I had my glasses on. Everything was clear with them on.

"Like what?" Questioned the cat.

"Like, I will lose people I love." I admitted.

"Like who?" Smudges asked, letting me tickle her tummy.

"My dad and Kanron." I held the cat to my chest.

"Too tight, Adelade!" She struggled.

"Oh, sorry girl!" I said.

I loosened my grip.

"It's okay!" The kitten smiled.

I leant on the wall, feeling like I should do something. But what?

"Sis?"

I looked up to see Kanron. He had a smile on his face.

"Yeah," I said.

"Mommy and Daddy want us both in the throne room," said Kanron.

"Why?" I Asked.

"I think they have god news!" Kanron said.

I got to my feet and followed him. Smudges climbed on to my shoulder and I carried her.

Once we got there, Mom and Dad smiled. Mom turned to me.

"Adelade," she said. "I think your wish has come true!"

I stared at her. I felt the excitement build up within me.

"I'm going to have a sister?" I asked.

Mom smiled and came over to me.

"Yes, Adelade," she said. "You and Kanron will have a sister."

I and Kanron squealed in delight and hugged our parents. Mom smiled.

"Kanron, careful, sweetie!" She said.

Kanron was squeezing her.  He loosened his grip.

"Sorry, Mommy," he said.

We all hugged. Dad turned to me.

"Are you okay, Princess?" He got a lock of my hair.

"Yeah," I said. "Why, daddy?"

"You look upset about something." Mom came over. "It's not about that, is it?"

"No!" I said truthfully.

"Auntie Elsa will be here soon, Adelade!" Mom said. "Have you packed?"

I nodded. "Yeah!"

Mom noticed the tone and lead me out of the room.

A/N:

Poor Adelade. Right?

She's had a bad start to her life. But not as bad as Elsa and Anna.
