2nd Person POV

Lunch time is over, and we see the students in their classes, and you, your team, Team JNPR and Velvet are currently sitting in Bartholomew Oobleck's class, mostly listening.

The current topic is the Faunus Right Revolution. Everyone one from TEAM RWBYY are listening except for Ruby and Yang, who both seem bored, and from TEAM JNPR Jaune is sleeping. Velvet's being a diligent student listening interested.

Bartholomew: "Yes! Yes, prior to the Faunus Right Revolution, more popularly known as the Faunus War, humankind was quite, quite adamant about centralizing Faunus population in Menagerie!" he explains, moving very fast, and you wonder how he manages to achieve such speed, so casually. "Now! While this must feel like ancient history to many of you, it is imperative to remember that these are relatively recent events!" he takes a sip of his 'coffee'. "Why, the repercussions of this uprising can still be seen to this day!" he stops in front of his desk, drinks even more coffee. "Now! Have any among you been subjugated or discriminated because of your Faunus heritage?" he asks the class as a few hands begin to raise.

Velvet looks a little unsure, but she gazes at you for a short moment before raising her hand confidently.

Bartholomew: "Dreadful, simply dreadful! Remember, students, it is precisely THIS kind of ignorance that breeds violence!" he says, and while you agree, you do know that people cause violence for the simplest of reasons. Oobleck takes another sip of his coffee. "I mean, I mean, I mean just look at what happened to the White Fang! Now, which one of you young scholars can tell me what many theorise to be the turning point in the third year of the war?" he questions the class, and a hand rises. "Yes?"

Weiss: "The battle at Fort Castle!" she answers sternly.

Bartholomew: "Precisely! AND, who can tell me the advantage the Faunus had over General Lagune's forces?" he asks again.

Meanwhile, Cardin, unseen by Doctor Oobleck, flicks a paper football at Jaune's head, waking him up.

Jaune: "HEY!" he exclaims, and Bartholomew looks at Jaune, zooming over to him.

Bartholomew: "Mr. Arc! Nice of you to finally contribute to class! This is excellent! Excellent! What is the answer?" he demands, and Jaune feels nervousness creeping up.

Jaune: "Uhhh... the answer... the advantage... that the Faunus... had over that guy's stuff..." he begins, struggling. He sees Pyrrha cupping her hands around her eyes. "Uhh... Binoculars!" he responds, pleased with his answer, much to the disappointment of the Doctor and Pyrrha.

Most of the class starts laughing at him, while Pyrrha facepalms, and Cardin hits his desk chortling. An itch appears in your right wrist, but you try to ignore it.

Bartholomew: "Very funny, Mr. Arc! Cardin! Perhaps you would care to share your thoughts on the subject!" he scolds/calls out.

Cardin: "Well, I know that it's a lot easier to train an animal than a soldier!" he responds, upsetting a few in the class, and Bartholomew shakes his head. You sigh, apparently loud enough for Cardin to hear. "What are YOU sighing for? As if you'd know the answer!" he barks, and you glare at him coldly.

(y/n): "I believe... The answer is night vision..." you say coldly, trying to control the urge to cut him down. You're a little unsure about your answer however, suddenly Pyrrha nods.

Pyrrha: "Honestly, you're not the most open-minded of individuals, are you, Cardin?" she asks, and Cardin growls, now looking at her. "And, yes, (y/n), you're right, Faunus have night vision! Most Faunus have near to perfect sight in the dark!" she answers, and you nod thankfully.
