(Yuki's POV)

I looked at myself in front of a 270 degree full length mirror. I am wearing a dark blue with white thin stripes long sleeves, demin jeans and black leather ankle boots. My hair was up in a messy bun on top of my head.

"It's not a date." I reminded myself before heading out.

Yui and I will meet today at the skating rink. It's only the third time we'll spend time together but we already grew fond of each other. Homare always come with us though he reminds cold and distant just like the way he was when I first met Yui.

When I arrived at the Ice skating rink, Homare and Yui were already there. They were skating together. But when I joined them, Homare excused himself. He sat at the bleachers with a book in his hand like he always does, looking at our direction from time to time to check on Yui. He did not acknowledge my presence even when our eyes met.

"Guess that's all for today. You're a very fast learner." I told Yui.

"Thank you, Yuki. For everything." Yui sweetly smiled at me.

"You're welcome." I smiled back.

"Could you skate for me?" Yui asked.

"Huh?"

"You've been teaching me for days but I never saw you skate before."

I stared at Yui's eyes. And I just couldn't say no. How could I say no to a girl so sweet and cute?

"Alright."

I started to skate. When I'm fast enough I did some few maneuvers of jumps and spins.

"Yuki's really amazing." Yui told Homare when we went to sat with him.

Homare replied with an inaudible sound.

"What? Don't tell me you're too busy with your book to see her skate!" Yui pouted.

"Ah. I am." Homare answered.

I'm not surprised.

"Too bad for you." Yui pouted.

Homare did not answer.

"I'll just go and pee." Yui announced and run to the restroom.

I felt uncomfortable sitting beside Homare on our own so I decided to stand up. When I did I jerked and immediately sat back. I massage my right thigh with my hands.

"Does your knee hurt?" Homare looked at me.

I wasn't able to answer. I was lost in his gaze.

Homare stood up and kneel in front of me. His warm hands on my right knee woke my senses back.

"No. It doesn't hurt." I told him and moved my leg away from him.

Homare gave me a you-better-admit-it look.

"Cramps." I explained.

Homare sighed and reached for my right leg. He straightens it and pushed back my toes.

"Is this any better?" He asked.

"Y-Yeah..."

Awkward silence...

"I'm fine now." I told him

Homare stood up in front of me.

... ... ...

"What are your plans for Christmas?" Homare asked.

I almost forgot. It's Christmas Eve tomorrow.

"... I guess I'll just go somewhere." I answered.

"Your brother won't be home?"

I did not answer.
