Chapter 18

Why should I even bother to go? But he bothered to inform me. I will go to Austin and if he isn't there, we are over. I got up from the bed after two days of just laying on it thinking and waiting for a call. But nothing happened and I had to fly to Austin today. So I got ready and drove to the airport alone.

Walking in the airport, I spotted a familiar face. I walk a bit faster so I can reach the tall moose that was walking faster than me in front of me. I finally get close enough so I can smack the back of his head. "What the h--" he says a bit pissed but smiles as he sees me "(Y/N), hi. I didn't know it was you" he says and hugs me
"I know" I say and I hug him back. We pull away
"Where are you going?" he asks me
"Austin, I have to check a house" I say
"That's great. We are flying together then" he says and smiles
"I guess we do" I say and we continue to walk together.

"Can I ask you something?" I ask
"Sure"
"Have you talked with Jensen lately?"
"Yes, we talked like two days ago. Why are you asking?"
"Nothing. What did the two of you talked about?" I ask and I notice that he got a bit uncomfortable. It was like he was thinking of something to say. "It's fine. I understand" I say and I start to walk faster so I could leave him back. But he stopped me
"It's not what you think it is (Y/N)" he says
"Oh yeah? Then why haven't he called me one time after he left? Why is he ignoring my calls? And now he wants me to go to that house alone. He is getting more distant each day and I don't want to lose him" I say
"You're not, ok? You're not going to lise him. As soon as we land, I'm going to drive you to the house and then if you need me you'll call me and I'll come to take you, ok?" he suggests
"You don't need to"
"I want to" he says
"Thank you"
"You're welcome. Let's go catch our flight now" he says and I nod.

And he did. He drove me to the house "When you are done, call me to pick you up if you want to leave" he says
"And why would I even stay?"
"I don't know"
"Come on, what is that supposed to mean?" I ask
"Nothing" he says and I frown
"I'll see you later" I say and I get out of the car. I walk to the door and I find the key under the doormat like Jensen said. I open the door and I take a step inside. But I stop after that. All the floor was covered in red rose petals. Of course there were no furniture in the house. The only a path on the empty floor didn't have petals on, so I start to walk and I follow it.

It lead me upstairs in a room. I open entirely the door that was half closed. Inside the big master bedroom was the only piece of furniture in the entire house. It was the bed Jensen and I wanted to take as the first furniture when we would find our dream house. It was exactly as I told him I wanted it to be.

Flashback
"Isn't it perfect?" I ask Jensen
"It is" he says
"Great. So we have a bed but no house yet" I say
"I know but we'll find something" he says and kisses me "Close your eyes"
"Why?" I ask
"Just so it" he says and I do "Imagine us laying on this bed in our dream house. Sleeping there, cuddling there, doing other things on there" he whispers next to my ear
"Oh really?" I whisper
"Oh yes"
"And what would that involve?" I ask still having my eyes closed
"First, I would help you out of those clothes of yours and I would've been pleased to discover that you are naked underneath" he says and his hard starts to move up and down the skin of my thigh that the pajamas shorts couldn't cover.
"Yes..." I whisper trying to make him say more
"Then I would lay you down on that bed..." he says and his hand moves up. I bit my lip and I can almost hear him smiling "Then I would--" he was saying but the phone interrupts us. I open my eyes "The rest I'll keep for surprise" he says and I smile. He kisses me and gets up to take the phone.
End of flashback

The rose petals on the bed were in a shape of a heart. There were candles all around the room.
