Chapter 52

"So how have you been?" she asks
"Great. How have you been?" I ask not really caring to be honest. I just wanted this to end
"Good. I've gotten married recently with Harry Anderson. You remember him, right?" she says
"Yes, wasn't he with Anna after highschool?" I ask
"He was"
"So you haven't changed a bit" I say under my breath
"What?"
"Nothing. Is he still as good looking as I remember?" I ask
"Yes. But not like yours. I mean wow. He is gorgeous" she says. There she is again. She's still in there. "You were pretty lucky. How did the two of you met?"
"I was the photographer in one of his photoshoots"
"Is he a model? Well, that makes sense"
"No, he's an actor. He and the cast had a promotional photoshoot for one of their seasons"
"I see. You should come for dinner one day"
"I don't know, we have a pretty full schedule" I say and I hear a notification from my phone. I take my phone out and I see it's a message from Alex

I text him back which is our code I Need Saving. We started doing that on set so I could take Jared away from him. He calls me almost immediately
"Ok, go" he says and I pick up
"Hi Jensen, everything ok?" I ask pretended to talk to Jensen
"Oh it's that bad" Alex says
"Ok, I'm coming now" I say "Sorry, I have to go. Jack needs food and there is no filled bottles in the fridge" I say to Kate
"Sure go, here is my number" she says and hands me her card "Give me a call when you have free time" she says and I nod.

I walk away from her "Thank you. You are my saviour" I say to Alex
"You're welcome. Thanks for the warning. If you just have seen my script... Jared was really creative this time" he says and I chuckle
"I can imagine"
"Anyways, what was that thing you wanted to get out?"
"An old highschool friend, well, not really a friend but... I'll tell you in person"
"Ok. We'll talk then. Bye"
"Bye" I say and I hang up.

I open the door to the house and I get in. Jensen was in the living room playing with the kids. He looks at me and smiles "I'm gonna kill you dead" I say and he chuckles. He walks to me and kisses me
"How bad was it?" he asks
"She hasn't changed at all. Thank God Alex saved me"
"Alex? I didn't know the two of you talked this much"
"He needs someone on his side on set. Why? Are you jealous?"
"No, of course not" he says and I chuckle.

So next week after work Alex and I went for a drink. "Tell me about your friend that you so desperately needed to avoid" he says
"She was my best friend in high school until she had sex with my crush" I say
"She knew that he was your crush?"
"Of course she did. I mean I had a crush on this guy from the past 5 years and when he finally asked me out, she was the first person who knew. So she helped me pick out an outfit and do my make up. But he texted me that something happened and we will have to reschedule. And instead of doing what a best friend would do, sit with me and drink, she left. So the next day in school she came full of hickies and later that day I found out that she had slept with him" I say and I take a sip of my drink
"Oh ouch"
"Yeah. But I forgot out her and everyone else when I graduated and told myself to never talk to any of them again. But then she showed up and guess what? She's married to an ex boyfriend of my old friends so she hasn't changed a bit. But then she tells me wow, he is gorgeous referring to Jensen and my heart skipped a beat. Many things were coming in my mind and I couldn't stop them, like her taking the guy from me again"
"Hey this ain't happening with Jensen. I might not know you guys for a long time but I know that there is no way he is doing something like that to you. He is too much into you and I'm sure that she is nothing comparing to you" he says and I chuckle
"You know what funny? Jensen was jealous of me and you but it seems like I'm jealous of him" I say
"Well, that probably means that both of you are afraid to lose eachother. It's healthy jealously"
"Thank you. I really needed to hear that"
"You're welcome" he says and rubs my back. "Ok, let's change the subject. Did you see Jared and Jensen's face when they realized that I was saying my lines correctly?"
"Oh yes. It was priceless" I say and I laugh.
