Chapter 26

JJ and Dee went back home after a few hours and left me and Jensen alone. "I didn't call your mom yet because I convinced her to go home and take some rest" he says
"Thank you" I say and I take his hand "How many days was I out?" I ask
"Almost one month" he says and I look at him shocked
"Was it that bad?" I ask
"Yes, it was really bad. Why didn't you go inside the bathroom with JJ? Why did you let him get to you?" he asks
"He was coming for me Jensen. If he had found me with JJ, he might hurt her too and I couldn't stand that" I say and he nods. "But I'm back now. So let's not think about that, ok?" I ask and he nods and smiles.

"We should start planning the wedding, shouldn't we?" I say trying to cheer him up
"If you feel ready to, sure" he says
"I'm beyond ready to marry you. I don't want to spend one more second being worried about not important things" I say
"Me too" he says and kisses me
"Great. First comes the dress because everything should match with the dress. But it should be good if we decide on a general theme. I actually have some of them saved in my phone" I say
"Let me get that. I was thinking September, maybe?" he says and gets up. He takes it and brings it to me.
"Perfect. That means that we have five months so we need to hurry" I say. But when he sat back down, he seemed like his side was in pain
"Are you ok?" I ask
"Yes, it's nothing"
"Jensen, what happened? Did he hurt you too?" I ask and I start to get worried
"No, I'm fine don't worry" he says
"Jensen!" I say in a louder voice. He takes a deep breath and looks at me
"He had caused major damages in your body and you had already lost a lot of blood when we found you. He had destroyed one of your kidneys and they were hoping that the other one could recover. But it didn't. After one week it raptured and you needed a kidney as fast as possible. So I got tested and it turned out that I was a match" he says and lifts his t-shirt up
"And when were you going to tell me that you gave me your kidney?" I ask
"Maybe when we would be home, chilling"
"Jensen, it's not your keys that I borrowed and I'll give them back to you when I find mine, we are talking about a part of your body"
"I know, I know. But I didn't need a second to think if I should do this or not when the tests came back positive"
"I just keep hurting, don't I?"
"No. I'm just making sure you are ok" he says and rubs my cheek
"I love you so much"
"I love you too" he says and kisses me.

"Now let's go back to planning" he says and I nod "What is your general theme?" he asks
"Flowers. Small and cute flowers. Dominant colours white, green and a dash of pink " I say
"It sounds great" he says and kisses me
"And while I'm in bed, because I bet that I will have plenty of time to recover, I'll start looking for all tge necessary things"
"Why don't you leave it on the wedding planner?" he asks
"Because in order to be perfect we need to be in touch all the time" I say and he chuckles.

The door opens and my mom walks in. "Baby" she says and hugs me
"Hi mom" I say
"Are you ok? How are you feeling? How long have you been awake? Jensen why didn't you call me?" she asks
"I'm awake for a few hours now and I've been pretty busy convincing JJ that I am ok, and now planning my wedding" I say
"You two started planning it? Did you pick a date?" she asks
"We were thinking about September" Jensen says
"That sounds great" she says "And you will need help to--"
"No, mom. That's the wedding planner's job. You just make sure you have whatever you need for that day" I say
"I'll make sure to bring tissues" she says
"You probably should" I say.
