ok so here in new york state we have to take these standardized tests starting in 3rd grade, for like english and math and sometimes other subjects. In 7th grade I was minding my own business taking my english test in my brand new white ralph lauren shorts, when I noticed something felt weird down there and I looked down and there was blood. I got my period for the first time. I barely finished my test, and then I took the chair I was sitting on with me to the locker room to change into my gym shorts and cried so much I went home.
