I first got my period when I was 12. For days I had no idea what was wrong with me, and when my mom finally pieced it together and told me I was on my period ( although didn't explain anything else) I cried for almost three days. I don't mind my period now, and I do get more emotional on it. I think a lot of women do but we can separate emotion from logic, unlike almost every man I know.
