3. "You've got me here for good now"

"Bella!" Carlos jogged up to her. "Hi" she smiled, standing up with a dog in her arms. "Is that...a dog" he asks, scared. "yeah he's nice" she put him down. "No no no" Carlos muttered before running away, dude following him. Bella stared at him for a minute before following. "Chill..." she mumbles walking into the forest to see her crush clinging to a tree. "hes a dog... dogs are evil" Carlos mumbles. Bella rolls her eyes and picks up Dude. "Thats what your mother told you?" She asks. He nods and slowly gets down. "Hes nice, trust me" she hands over the dog. "I'm going to meet piper, will you be okay?" she asks. He nods, still slowly approaching the dog. Smiling, she walks away to meet her best friend. 

"Lets go get these dresses" Piper smiles, linking arms with her best friend. Bella nods and together they walk to the nearest dress shop.  She had no idea what type she wanted. Hopefully shed find the perfect one. 

After what felt like hours Bella finds a stunning dress. "This is the one" she exclaims as she tries it on. "Finally" piper who found her dress a while ago yawns. She walks out, looking beautiful. It was just longer than her knee, lacy and had a puffy skirt. "I feel like a princess, for once" she giggles. "Good, you look like one" piper compliments. "Found the one?" the kind shop assistant. "Yep" Bella smiles before going to change back to her original outfit. The pair walk  out, both their bags on their arm. 

"Somethings up with Carlos" Bella states. "What do you mean?" piper asks, knowing her best friend liked him but wouldn't admit it. "He kept talking about the wand and what happens in maths today" She sighs. "You don't think they are planning to steal it do you?" piper lowers her voice. "I don't know! I mean... I don't want to think it but... they would have a reason" she sighs. Piper frowns. "So ... do you think jay asked me to go with him for the chance he could be closer o maybe he thought id make it easier?" She asks. "No... of course not, I think he really does like you" Bella puts a hand on her arm. "I guess we'll see soon" she shrugs, hopeful. Bella nods and smiles at her best friend. 

Tonight, The night of the coronation, possibly one of the most important nights.  Ben was becoming king. The villain kids were planning to steal the wand. None of them wanted to. They all had something worth staying for. For Evie it was Doug, and the hope of a castle. For Jay it was Piper, something about her amazed him. For Mal  it was ben, she has started to fall for him, regardless of the potion. Finally for Carlos it was Bella, he knew she was the one from their first conversation.  But no-one wanted to let their parent down. 

Bella changed into her and paired it with some silver flats she stole from her sister. She curled her hair and let it fall down her back. Her makeup was simple yet stunning. She looked amazing. Piper gave her a smile as if to ask 'ready?' Bella gave her a nod and they walked out. Piper headed to Jay whilst Bella spotted Carlos. He spotted her and his jaw dropped. "Hey" she smiled softly. "Hey, you look... Beautiful" he mumbles. "Not to bad yourself" she winks and giggles. They get ushered to their positions. "Where is Mal stood?" Evie mumbles to Carlos and Jay. Piper raises her eyebrow at Bella who shrugs. The coronation begins. Carlos, Jay and Evie's eyes remained on the wand the whole time. Piper looked at Bella and gave her a sad nod. Bella returns it and reaches over to squeeze her hand. Both didn't want them to do it, but they couldn't risk trying to stop them. 

The wand had just come from bens shoulders. Some reached out to grab it. Bella shut her eyes. This couldn't be happening. She opened her eyes to a tap on her shoulder. "you okay?" Carlos asks, ignoring his friends ushering him to follow them. "Yeah" she sighs. "Tell what's wrong when I get back" he smiles softly, squeezing her hand before running to join his friends.

 Jane. Jane had the wand. Not mal. "They might not-" Piper starts. Mal took the wand. "Come on" Bella grabbed pipers hand and pulled her down, following where the VKs had gone. When they got down Bella gasped. "I choose good you guys" Mal smiled. Piper grabbed Bellas arm. They hesitated. "I choose good too" Jay smiled. Bella turned to Piper and grinned. Piper was smiling more than she'd ever smiled before. He was staying. Evie had joined them. Carlos hesitated. Bella froze. "your parents cant get to you here" ben smiled. Carlos looked at Bella and that confirmed it. Even if his mum could reach him, he wanted to stay.  He joined them, making Bella relax. The two ran over and stood in the crowd. Carlos ran to her and pulled her into a hug. She smiled as he held her close. Jay ran towards piper. "Im glad you're good" she giggled. "me too" Carlos smiled going to take her hand. 

Everyone shrieked. Carlos stood in front of Bella almost to protect her. "Im back" maleficent shrieked. "She can't hurt you" Carlos said, noticing the girl tensing up behind him. "Go to your friends" she says, she wanted to be with her family. Growing up she had heard horror stories of maleficent. She was her biggest fear. 

Audreys eyes widened. Frantically she looked around for her little sister. They may not see eye to eye, but they cared for each other. Audrey knew of her biggest fear. And its was coming true right now. She spotted her. Carlos de vil in front of her. Her hatred for their relationship softened. He did truly care for her. Maybe she did want them to be a couple. She left out a breath she hadn't realised she was holding in when she saw the blonde girl run towards her. She grabbed her arm and pulled her close. "It'll be okay" she tried to help. They held eachother tight. each as terrified as the other

Maleficent shrunk to a lizard.  Bella grinned. She was safe. Carlos came towards her and smiled. "you've got me here for good now" he smirked. "Oh bother, I couldnt wait to get rid of you" she teased. He rolled his eyes and put his arm around her waist. "In all seriousness, I'm happy your staying" the princess smiles. "Whys that" he smirks. She goes red and puts her head on his shoulder. "Go away" she mumbles. He laughs and plays with her hair. 

"I dont think this is the end of the drama" she states simply. "What?" he asks confused. "You lot come with so much drama" she shrugs. "ironic how we hate it" he laughs. She nods. "Just please dont leave" she says softly. "i'm not planning on it" He looks down at her and smiles. At that point, they felt like the only people in the world. The only ones in the room. The only ones who mattered.
