26. "Sickening"

 "Dad!" Piper shouted, running into his arms. Peter Pan stood in the corner along with his eldest and his youngest. He picked her up and span her around in a hug. "What are you doing here?" piper smiles as he puts her down. "I couldn't miss my girls sixteenth" He smiles. "Piper!" pixie realised who was there. Piper bent down to her younger sisters height and picked her up. After hugging her sister and brother, her attention was back on her dad.

As piper spoke to her dad, Jay noticed. He tensed up causing Bella and carlos to smirk at him. "Someones nervous" Bella teases. Jay averts his attention to the couple and scoffs. "Who?" he asks. "You" Bella rolls her eyes. Jay rolls his eyes back at her. Harry and Uma wander over too the small group, hand in hand. "Is that...Peter Pan?" Harry asks. Bella starts giggling and nods. "My dad wants to meet you" Piper bounces over and grabs her boyfriends arm. Jay smiles a small smile at her but doesnt say anything. "Cat got your tongue jay?" Harry teases earning a hit from his girlfriend. "Oh and you're next hook" Piper winks and pulls jay in the direction of her dad. Harry tenses causing laughter from the group. "She's not serious, is she?" He asks. Uma shrugs and giggles. 

"Dad this is jay, my boyfriend" Piper says biting her lip. "nice to meet you, and you're from the isle?" Her dad offers him his hand. "Be nice" Piper hisses to her dad. Jay just nods and Peter shoots his daughter a playful smile. She zones out for a second before her dads comment brings her back into the conversation. "So jay, what are your intentions with my daughter?" Peter asks. "Dad!" Piper hits him on the arm. "Kidding, how long have you been together?" He asks as his daughter glares at him. "just over a year and a half" Piper mutters. Peter nods and his eyes scan over the crowd. "Is that..hooks son?" He asks, a glint in his eye. Piper giggles. "It is, harry" Jay says. "I'm so sorry to cut our conversation short but I must go speak to hook" Peter says. "Be nice" Piper warns as her and jay walk off. Piper finds herself laughing at Harrys expression when Peter arrives at his side. Playfully, Uma excuses herself from the conversation and joins her friends watching the scene. 

"Tick Tock Tick Tock" Preston walks past harry later on in the night. Harry jumps at the noise but calms when he realises it was only Preston. "Leave him alone pres" Piper finds herself defending harry. "never get to have any fun" Preston mutters before walking off to chase a four year old. 

"Speech time!" Fairy godmother announces causing both birthday girls to groan. "I'll go first" Peter smirks and takes the microphone from FG. "Hi, so i'm pipers dad and I know you won't have seen much of me since she started at Auradon prep and neither has piper" He starts before turning to piper "And i'm so sorry I haven't been there. I missed seeing my girl grow up into this beautiful young woman. You have honestly changed so much, look you even have a boyfriend. What I want to say is i'm so proud of you and that i'm sure mum is too. She's looking down on you and she must be so proud of how amazing you have become. We love you so much"                              By the end piper has tears in her eyes and she ran up to hug him. "Jay" Peter throws the mic to his daughters boyfriend carelessly and jay smiles. Preston turns to his brother. "obviously dad would be throwing microphones around" He says. Parker lets out a laughs. 

"I just want to say by saying thank you. You have honestly been so amazing and as cliche as it sounds, you have actually stolen my heart. From that very first moment I saw you, I knew that you were special. Over this past year you have made me so so so happy. Theres never a moment when im not laughing or smiling when im with you. As sickening as it sounds, I really do love you" His eyes were fixed on his girl throughput the whole thing. She leaved her dad and runs up to him. They stay in their hug until Carlos shouts "Sickening" causing many people to laugh. Bella hits him softly and in return he pulls her into a hug. 

Next up was Bella. "So I've known Piper for what feels like forever. It's been what, eleven years and shes not sick of me just yet. But in all honesty I watched her grow up from this stubborn little girl to this wonderful, amazing, beautiful person she is today. I watched her fall in love, which was sickening but adorable. You have been my partner in crime for so long and the amount of mischief we've caused would disappoint our parents greatly.  You have been there for me through everything and I couldn't thank you enough" Bella smiles. Piper wraps her arms around her best friend. They really had been through everything together.
