19. "Wow, the old Bella is back"

She wandered back to her room, avoiding the corridor where her boyfriend was most likely to be. As she reached to open it, the door opened from the inside. "No, stay, please" Piper whines. Bella laughs slightly as she awaits the exit of her best friends boyfriend. "I have my own homework" he says softly, causing piper to huff. "Bella hi!... are you okay?" jay notices the tears in her eyes. "Im fine" Bella smiles, softly pushing past him to walk into her room. Pipers childish expression changed as she noticed her usually smiley friend had walked in. "How did it go?" She asked hopefully. Bella sighed and sat on her bed. "Wonderful" she says her voice thick with sarcasm. "Granny was horrible about Carlos and decided she doesn't want to see me again if I don't break up with him" she hugs her legs. Pipers face softens. "Are you?' she asks quietly. Bella raises an eyebrow at her friend. "Breaking up with him?" piper expands. "I don't know! I don't want to but...but I just don't want to let my family down" Bella sighs. Piper thinks before noticing a car she recognised all too well pulling away. "What does your dad think?" she asks, flopping down onto her own bed. "he just wants me to be happy" she shrugs. "There you go, just don't worry, they can't change love" piper says simply. Bella nods and smiles. Piper was always able to bring positivity to a negative situation. One trait which shows she is born and raised an auradon girl. 

"My brothers coming to auradon prep" Piper says out of the blue the following morning. "Which one?" Bella asks as she finishes her look. "Parker, he's in Audrey's year" piper smiles, plans already forming in her head. "When?" Bella steps into her shoes. "Family day" piper giggles. "Im assuming your dad can't come?" Bella half asks half states. Piper frowns and shakes her head. Bella smiles sympathetically and puts her arm around her best friend. Piper was so close to her family yet they lived so far. 

Bella left her second class of her day and headed to her locker. She wound up painting on the inside. She was very artistic and extremely talented. Her locker was once front and inside painted but fairy godmother had forced her to remove it all. Bella settled for the inside because she didn't want her work being destroyed again. She began humming a tune to herself before she turned to her left and saw the king before her. 

"Jesus" she mutters stepping back so she could see him. "Sorry to scare you" He smiled. "And you're talking to me because?" she asked, the sassy side coming out for the first time in a while.   "Wow the old Bella is back" ben observes. Bella rolls her eyes. "She never left, now what do you want?" she shuts her locker and leans against it. "Just checking how you are, considering we haven't spoke in a while and classes are starting up again" He says. Ben and Bella were very close. He was like the big brother she never had. And as for classes, they were starting again today. They had a two week break, in which Audrey disturbed and tried to destroy auradon. Now classes were starting back up again, the first day for many of the new vks. "Yeah yeah I'm fine" she says , her eyes travelling to who was approaching. She smiled as she saw who was approaching. "If you say so, see you later Bella" he smiles. Bella returns the smile, hers fake but it was still a smile. "See you around bennyboo" she smirked. 

Carlos wandered towards Bella and smiled as she came towards him and hugged him. "If you mention my dinner last night I will kill you" she says as they pull apart. "Note taken" he nods, taking her hand. "What have you got next?" he asks. "Goodness" Bella says, leaning her head on his shoulder. "You? In goodness?" he asks, shocked. "Darling ,you seem to have forgotten before you and your crew showed up, piper and I were the baddest kids in school" she says. She steps away from him as they arrive at her room. "Hard to believe" he mutters. "Bye" she smiles, kissing him quickly before the bell goes. "Sickening" jay says, grabbing his friends arm and walking away. Bella rolls her eyes at him before walking in alongside piper. Bella didn't mind goodness class. It was an hour just with piper and FG doing things that actually helped in real life. 

Bella notices someone is sat in her seat. "Excuse me, that is my seat" she smiles fakely. "Do you want a medal or something" the girl in the seat replied. Bella rolled her eyes as piper stayed quiet. piper was not in the mood to argue with someone who looked interesting. FG walked up to the girls. "Annabella, Piper this is Quinn, Queen of hearts daughter" the teacher gestured to the girl sat in the seat. She was surprisingly pretty. Shoulder length light blonde with blue eyes. She wore red and resembled her mother. "Quinn, this is Piper, daughter of Peter Pan and Annabella daughter of sleeping beauty" she went on, this time gesturing to the girls we already know and adore. "Now what seems to be the problem?" she asks. Bella puts on her innocent act. "Quinn here was just sat in my chair I've sat in since year seven, I have emotional attachments" she  sighed. Piper sniggered at the emotional attachment comment. "Oh Quinn dear, would you mind sitting next to uma and harry" FG smiled at Bella. Bella was known and loved around here, she wouldn't want it any other way. 

Uma shot her friends a glare who just turned to her and waved. Piper smirked as she saw harry sat next to uma. " Theres not need to worry, Quinn and Harry will be joining another goodness class later on this week, we just wanted to introduce them to the topic, my apologies girls" Fairy godmother smiled at the auradon girls. "Its okay" Bella smiles. "Yeah, no worries" Piper adds.  Uma was shocked at the girls sweetness. Bella had the teachers here wrapped around her little finger. The lesson went on, Bella and piper growing more and more agitated as the lesson went on. This was stuff they learnt back in year seven. "Quick tip, pick the one that doesn't sound like any fun" Piper leant forward and whispered to uma. This made them make sense now. "Who knew Pan was so clever" harry teased. Piper rolled her eyes. "Its not hard, I learnt this back when I was 11" she smirked back. "pipes, don't tease the peasants because they aren't as clever as us" Bella warns, making sure harry could hear her. Harry just shook his head in annoyance and Bella smirked in achievement.  "Good work" Piper smirked. Harry turned around and glared at the girls behind him. "Mr hook, turn around please and answer question four" FG smiled. Piper bit her lip to avoid laughing at his expression.
