14. "Everything worked out in the end"

Bella nudged piper as they noticed where jay and Carlos where stood. "Not yet" piper mutters, playing with her hands. Bella rolls her eyes and leaves piper to get up the courage to approach her boyfriend. "She's alive!" Bella grins as he pulls her into a hug. "Well duh" Audrey walks past. "Oh shut up" She rolls her eyes causing her big sister to let out a laugh. "Im glad you're happy" he smiles. Bella nods and giggles, thinking of last nights antics. "When can I expect my jacket back?" he smirks. "Never?" she tries. He rolls his eyes playfully. "Ill give up it back when I'm ready" she answers, noticing piper and jay just talking, what appeared normally. "How do I get rid of it then?" he tries his look. "Oh look bens about to talk, shush" she giggles, stepping back so she was next to piper. "Im telling him later" piper mumbles. Bella sighs jokingly and turns her attention to mal and ben. 

"Without hades, my father, Audrey would be gone" Bella turns to her big sister. She reaches out for her hand and squeezes it. Audrey smiles up at mal. She was changing and Bella couldn't believe it. Audrey was trying. She was making effort to be more "normal".  She was doing it for her sister. 

Did she just hear that right? Were they really going to open the barrier? Audrey looks at her sister wide eyed. Bella just smiles. Mal was keeping her promise. She was going to see her friends again. Dizzy was going to have her best friend back. Carlos turned around to check her reaction. Piper had a mischievous smirk on her face. "Hooks coming back" her and jay said in unison making all four laugh.  Bella was grinning ear to ear. Carlos smiled back at her and reached out to squeeze her hand. Mal beckoned for her friends to run up and join her. Piper turned to Audrey and smiled. "Im glad you're okay" she said. Audrey came up to the pair and stood in between them. She nodded and put an arm around each girl and they all shared a group hug. These girls meant a lot too each other. They had been best friends since children and for the first time in years, they were back together as a group, smiling.

 "To make the world a better place" mal raised the wand. This brought back memories. Just over a year ago mal had tried to steal that wand. Everyone would have been terrified to see it in her hands. Now everyone was smiling up at her. They were happy for it to be In her hands. "We have to do it face to face" The core four recited together.  Bella turned and watched the magic. It was beautiful. The world was reuniting. It filled Bella with joy. Piper grabbed the sisters arms and they ran up to join everyone. Bella rested her arms on Carlos' shoulders as they watched the bridge rebuild itself. He turned his head and smiled at her. They were both so happy. 

 Mal began to sing. Before long everyone was singing. It brought back memories of cotillion. Everyone was singing and dancing. The core four left to go and greet the "villains" Bella and piper stayed, awaiting their arrival in their home. Bella smiled as she saw Uma and Celia coming towards them. She curtseyed as they arrived in the entrance to Auradon. Celia ran straight towards dizzy. It was heart-warming to see them reunite. They both looked overjoyed. The best friends were back at each others side. 

 Bella walked up to her boyfriend and kissed him. "Everyone is so happy" She smiled. He nodded and span her around. "Is this the end of the drama?" He smirked as he often did. Bella pauses as they danced. "Probably not" she shrugs. The singing dies down and music plays, many people dancing. Bella looks over to the isle and suddenly feels scared. "Im nervous to meet your mum" she says. He opens his mouth to say something but dude appears to their side."You're nervous? His mum is cruella de vil I'm petrified!" he shouts before getting distracted and running off. "Forgot he could talk, gonna take some getting used to" Bella shakes her head in disbelief. "At least you don't have him waking you up of a morning" Carlos says. Bella laughs. "I can think of a way to shut him up" her evil smirk came back. "Don't you think of hurting my dog" Carlos says seriously. "I didn't mean that! plus I was the one who introduced to you dude in the first place" Bella smirks with achievement. "I can never win with you can I?" he shakes his head pulling her closer to him. "Nope, piper and I can debate til...forever" she giggles. He laughs and kisses her softly. "Sickening" jay shouts as he wanders past, looking for piper probably. Bella rolls her eyes at him. It was becoming a running joke between them all. One thing which made their friendship stand out from everyone else's, and better than everyone else if you were to ask Bella or piper. 

 Bella pulls Carlos towards the young vks who were admiring audradon. "Its amazing" Celia breathed. Dizzy agreed. "The gardens are even better" Bella States, casting both girls to smile. "Bella!" Celia exclaims running to give her a hug. "I told you id see you again" Bella smirks. "Hey, you found Audreys bracelet I left" Celia giggles. "I did" Bella giggles back. Both young girls run off, most likely to find some more of their vk friends. Bella turned to her boyfriend. "They remind me of piper and I" she says. Carlos nods in agreement. "I hope they stay close" he adds, thinking of how he and jay were. "Theres nothing better than having a parter in crime at your side" she smiles. "You couldn't have said it any better" he smiles.

Audrey walked towards her sister but was stopped by harry hook. She couldn't deny he wasn't handsome, but he wasn't a prince. She also thought he had a girlfriend, did he not? Bella smirks at Carlos and walks towards Audrey. "He's taken" she mutters inconspicuously. Audrey raised her eye brows at her younger sister. Bella turns her head towards uma and Audrey nodded. "I knew it" she mumbled, finding some way to leave harry to go and find one of her friends. 

"Everything worked out in the end" piper walks to up to her best friend. "It did, I knew it would" Bella smiles as they gaze over the isle. "Fancy taking a trip there?" piper asks, curiously. "Maybe, but not before you tell jay" Bella smirks. Piper groans and throws her head back. They stand in a comfortable silence for a few moments before piper gets a burst of confidence. "Okay, I'm going to tell him" her confidence dropping with each word. Bella grinned. "Good luck" she slightly pushes her best friend in the direction of jay. Piper rolls her eyes but walks up to him. "There no time like the present right?" she tells herself, calling her down ever so slightly.
