====================================

"Guys! I found the power sphere!" The ice elemental exclaimed, retrieving the said power sphere onto his hands and gave it to Gempa.

The earth element gave out a warm smile and gently took the sphere from Ais. "We did it, guys! Now, we can go back and find our brothers!" He stated, looking at each one of them while grinning from ear to ear. His brothers only gave him a small smile and a slight nod.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go back and--"

Unexpectedly, they heard a faint rustle of leaves beside them, causing them to immediately brought out their elemental weapons.

"Who are you, huh!? Show yourself!" Halilintar yelled, gripping onto his sharp, red-- with a combination of black-- thunder blades.

With no hesitation, the figure hiding from the bushes revealed itself to them. It was the dangerous creature who's trying to endanger their lives. What shocked the four elements most is that, the creature showed their missing brothers to them, with full of injuries and were slightly conscious.

They saw it in their own eyes, the bruises and wounds created to their brothers by the creature. They were trembling uncontrollably, with mixed of fear and anger. The trio troublemakers then slightly raised their heads up to see their terrified brothers looking at them.

"LET THEM GO!" Solar exclaimed, his eyes glowing furiously with his hands clenched tightly into fists.

"Oh, don't worry~ I'll let them go~" The creature said, grinning evilly at the four. "Only if you give me what's mine~" It added, then stared at the power sphere Gempa was holding.

"NO WAY WE'LL GIVE IT TO YOU!" Halilintar snapped, glaring at the creature.

"Then I guess it will be the end of these trio's lives~"

The four couldn't help but look at their brothers hopelessly. If they engaged an attack, the creature would immediately kill their brothers. If they gave the power sphere to it, their mission will fail again.

"Fine. I'll be giving you 10 seconds to decide. If the time is up, I'll be the one to decide instead~"

10...

Blaze then looked up at his brothers and noticed the power sphere on Gempa's hands. He smiled weakly and bitterly. "Heh... I guess you guys don't really need us anymore..."

9...

Hearing those words made the four elemental brothers' hearts crashed. They wanted to disagree by what their brother just said. They're so desperate yet, they couldn't even open their mouths to say something.

8...

"We're sorry for being jerks..."

7...

"For being idiots..."

6...

"Who always ruin the missions..."

5...

"We hope you forgive us... That's all we ever wanted to hear..." He stated, with tears started shedding from his eyes.

4...

Still, the four were still standing not too far from them, speechless. Gempa started panicking. He didn't know what to do. Should he save the power sphere he is holding or his brothers? This decision is too much for him.

3...

And yet, he still couldn't choose between the two since they are all important. The four then looked up at their missing brothers' eyes, tears started to well up from their eyes.

2...

The trio could only smile sadly at them, a warm, forgiving yet pained smile. Their smiles meant something more. It's a smile that only means, bidding their last farewells to them since, they knew their time is up.

"Time's up!~"

The four elemental's eyes widened and gasped in shock.

"Well then, I guess it's my turn to make the decision~"

Without warning, the creature unexpectedly break the trio's neck by twisting their heads harshly, causing the trio's lives to end and the creature dropped them down on the ground. The four elemental brothers stared at the scene in horror, making the three from the group rushed towards their fallen brothers. The creature then grinned evilly once more before disappearing from the four's sights.

The lightning, ice and light element held their brothers on their arms, sobbing softly. They hugged them close to them, with tears streaming down their faces. Their breath was shaky, their hearts felt heavy and their whole body felt weak.

"You idiot, wake up..." Halilintar whispered, his teeth clenched with few of his tears dropped on the wind elemental's cheek while hugging him tightly. "Airhead please... wake up...!"

"Blaze... please don't leave me..." Ais softly whispered, hugging his fire elemental brother more while sobbing. "Please, please, please don't leave me..."

"Forgive me, Duri..." Solar sniffled, his cap then fell of his head but he didn't care. He hugged his leaf elemental brother closer, suppress of hiccups could be heard from his lips. "I'm so, so sorry..."

On the other hand, the earth element stayed rooted on the ground while watching his brothers from afar. His heart sunk at the sight he's currently seeing. His brothers were grieving and crying in which, he couldn't help but did the same.

Gempa was hoping this was all just a dream. Just all a dreadful and horrifying nightmare. He hoped that the trio troublemakers would wake him up from his sleep, with Blaze unexpectedly playing his trumpet out of nowhere, with Taufan slamming the door loudly and Duri shaking him up violently to wake up and make breakfast.

But he knew that all of it wasn't a dream...

It's all real.

With their mission, it was a success.

But for them...

... it's a mission failed...

... because they failed to save their own brothers...
