Grief

The emptiness in your heart

The void in your soul

Could only mean you are hurt,

In a way that you'll never be whole.

People try to fill that space ,

With every single bit of hope.

As long as it doesn't show in your face,

You think you have gone through.

But every person's heart, you see

Is filled with some thing or the other.

Something that was meant to be,

Or someone they lost, maybe their mother.

Whoever leaves, they leave too soon.

Whoever stays, they're there for you.

So instead of looking for who has gone,

You could look at the present too.

So get your head around this

And get your heart to heal.

Cause if ignorance is bliss

Knowledge adds a lot of zeal.

Just move on, never forget

Cause this grief is a part of you.

Of all those things that you regret

The hope is in there too.
