Stranded at Sea

How do you explain this,

This feeling of suffocation?

Every time you try, you miss

Your smile's for the rarest occasion

Looking around, everywhere's new

It's like you're stranded in space

A whole army might be behind you

But not one has seen your real face

The walls are closing in

Your lungs don't work anymore

It feels like you're drowning

You need a hand to get you ashore

Gasping for air, stranded at sea

You think you're facing the end

But even then, your hands, they're free

So maybe you can start by trying to mend
