Trigger warning; Mentions of suicide

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Walking into the room, she remembers,

All the nights she spent with her.

Cuddled up in blankets, all those Decembers,

Today, everything seems to be a blur.

Walking past the playground, she sees,

That one swing they used to never let go.

All those beautiful flowers and those trees,

Covered up in sparkling white snow.

Walking through that busy street,

She watches the crowd in their favorite diner.

With tears streaming down they'd eat,

Not once minding the smudged eyeliner.

All of these memories they had together,

Just once she forgot to be there for her.

Now all that remains is guilt and regret

that she didn't even know her best friend was depressed.

Drying her tears, she was walking through the graveyard,

Looking for that lovely name..

The name that had once tried so hard

to make her believe that she hadn't changed.

The tenth of September is considered as World Suicide Prevention Day.

Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. If you know you are hurting yourself, please don't hesitate to ask for help. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness, rather it is a sign of strength.

Every suicide kills two people. One is the person who dies and the other, the person that dies inside of the one who loves them.
