Lonely

You're living inside that fence

And enjoying the solitude

But even while sitting with friends

You let the darkness intrude

Letting your mind fade away

Right back to that dark place

Where even the happiest moments could sway

And joy deserts your face

Sharing what goes on inside

Has become a long lost memory

Because of that, in your own mind

You have built your infirmary

You are yet to realize

That your mask is about to fall

That your beloved disguise

Won't protect your sacred wall

Your high walls have caved

But not by external force

For the dam cannot be saved

When the water overflows

Let them out, one at a time

And feel yourself get lighter

When the darkness exits your mind

The lonely you gets brighter
