Miraculous Ladybug Summer Vacation

Untitled Part 10

Adrien POV:

My head was throbbing, but I didn't mind. I needed to see Marinette. Whenever I was around her, everything seemed to fall into place. When I got to her hotel room, just a few floors above Nino and I, my head stopped hurting immediately.

She was sitting up on her bed, looking at a news report about the newly returned akumatized victim. I noticed Alya was asleep and a plan formed in my head.

I lept onto the balcony without making a sound. I guess it's one of the Chat Noir specialties. I snuck up to her as close as I could, then I grabbed her, ran out, and jumped over the balcony.

I had covered her mouth so her scream was muffled, so as to not wake Alya.

I used my extendable pole to boost us up, higher than the hotel. I turned Marinette around in my arms, facing me. She looked panicked, but when she saw it was me, she relaxed.

"Oh Chat. It's you." She said with a sigh of relief

"I'm sorry for the slight kidnapping, but I had to see you again." I said

"It's alright. I couldn't get to sleep anyways, with the akuma coming here and all..." She trailed off.

"It's okay, Purrincess. I'll always be here to protect you." I said, holding her a bit closer

She giggled, and I couldn't help but notice the way her perfect lips curved up into a smile, and separated when she laughed...

"I have to show you something, Purrincess." I said, slowly going to the rooftop. 

"What is it Chat?" She asked

"You know about my particular liking towards you..." I said

"Yeah, I actually wanted to tell you—" She started, but I cut her off.

"Before you say anything, I want you to know that this is me talking, and NOT my concussion." I said

"Okay, but how is your head?" She asked, getting nervous

"Whenever I'm around you, nothing hurts." I said "Which is why I need you to know. Do you trust me?" I asked

"Chat, you know I would trust you with my life, and I do!" Marinette said.

"I trust you completely. I just hope you can accept... me." I said

"Chat, whoever you are, you'll always be my Kitty." Marinette said

"That's good to know." I said. With that, I de transformed.

I still had my eyes closed, and for a moment, there was utter silence. I opened my eyes to see that  Marinette's jaw had dropped. She was still in unbelief, but I closed the distance between us and hugged her tightly. 

"It's real, Marinette. This is the real me." I said

Marinette was stunned, but she returned the hug. She was so small, so fragile... 

Hmm.

I stepped back and transformed, but when Plagg had entered the ring, I grabbed Marinette, like before, going higher than ever.

"Chat... It's really high up here..." Marinette said

"Don't worry, Purrincess. I won't let you fall." I said

"I'm still worried about you and your head." Marinette said

"It doesn't bother me when I'm around you." I said

She giggled. "At least Ladybug was there to distract the akuma victim when you got hurt." She said

"Ladybug is my best partner, but even if she weren't there, I wouldn't let anything happen to you." I said, looking into her blue eyes.

"Well, Ladybug will always be there for you. That's a fact." Marinette said

"How do you know that?" I asked

She grinned, and as soon as I was about to lean in, she fell.

"Marinette!" I yelled, but before I could reach her, a red light blinded me. I looked back to see... 

Ladybug?

She landed gracefully on the rooftop, and seconds later, I joined her.

"Y-You're L-Ladybug?!?!?!" I said, but she giggled

"I figured it was only fair, since you showed me your identity." She said, looking to the side.

I was stunned, but then an Idea came to my mind. 

"Lady— uh, Marinette, try the Lucky Charm. I want to see what it does, now that we know who each other are." I said 

She nodded, then shouted; "Lucky Charm"

When the charm came down, she was holding a double-sided chapstick container. 

We both looked at it, then I could almost see what she saw with the Ladybug vision.

The chapstick. Her lips, and my lips.

She looked at me, but I got out of the shock first, and i gave her a smirk.

"Alright, Bugaboo." I said, taking one half of the chapstick. It tasted like coconut. Ladybug put her side on, and she remarked that it tasted like pineapple.

"Well, then. I've heard of these." I said

"What do you do?" She asked

"Well, each side tastes like a different flavor, and when you mix them, they make a new flavor." I said

She looked confused, so I kept going. 

"In this case, it's pineapple and coconut, so we'll get pini colada." I said

"How do you mix them?" She asked, looking at the Lucky Charm.

"Like this." I said. 

And with that, I took her in my arms, leaned in, 

And Kissed Her
