Three months later

Bailey sighed as she helped el

El looked on top on the shelf to see a teddy bear

She tried reaching for it but she couldn't get it

Bailey stepped up towards the girl "I can try" she said and el nodded while stepping back

Bailey tried reaching for the stuff animal but didn't reach "nope, nevermind" bailey said and the 2 girls laughed

El then held her hand out and it started to shake, she tried her best but it wasn't working

The girl sighed while putting her hands on her hips while panting a little

"They'll come back, I know they will" mike said while grabbing the bear for the girl

Bailey looked at the 2 and walked out instantly

She went over to Dustin as he was flicking off max and Lucas

"I wish I was there to hear the dynamic duo sing" bailey said while sitting next to dustin "I'm happy you didn't" Dustin said and bailey, max, and Lucas laughed

Bailey looked over at the couple and held up her hand

Bailey signaled "turn around look at what you seeeeEeeeEeeeE" max and Lucas sang and Dustin sighed "shut up, shut up." Dustin said and they all laughed

Tears fell from baileys eyes as she hugged el "I'll miss you" bailey said "I'll miss you more" el said "Be sure to call this number" bailey said as she handed el the paper and el nodded "I will" el said as she wiped her face

Bailey then walked over to jonathan and gave him a hug

"I'll miss you and your mixtapes-and the fun car rides back to my house" bailey cried and jonathan hugged the girl "I'll miss you too, I'm gonna miss your helpfulness, you were the best little sister I can ask for" jonathan said and bailey smiled through her tears

She then hugged misses Byers

"I'll miss you, you were the most helpful-you are technically my mom and I can't believe you're leaving" bailey said and it made Joyce's heart break "I'll make sure to visit" Joyce said while wiping the young girls tears and hugging her again and kissed her head

A few minutes later the girls walked up to her best friend

Her heart instantly broke as she looked at Wills red eyes and nose

Will felt the same for the girl, he felt his heart break when he took a look at his best friends red face from crying

They both fell into each other's arms

"Will if you get a new best friend I'll kill you" bailey laughed while trying to lighten the mood "I won't" he said with a laugh "this s-sucks" Bailey said "it does" Will said "I'll miss you, el has the number to dustins if you forget it-but anyway, I'm glad that I had someone to relate to-even to talk to, I'm happy you're in my life and I don't want you to think that I'll replace you" bailey said and will nodded "I'll miss you more, and even if I do get a best friend you'll always be my number one best friend and I'll never forget you bails" he said and bailey smiled while wiping his face

"Should I stay?" Bailey said and Will smiled "or should I go?" Will said and the proceeded their hand shake

They then smiled at each other happily

Bailey sat on the Byers' porch while sniffling

She then felt a figure sit next to her

"You miss him?" She heard a familiar voice she looked over to see mike and she nodded "it feels like I lost a brother-2 brothers" bailey said while wiping her face "Yea...I miss el already" mike said and bailey sighed while wiping her face with both hands

"I have a major headache-I need to stop crying" she said while she looked down to her legs

She was wearing shorts; she traced the scar on her left leg

"Yea, you've been crying since we got here" mike joked making her laugh "yea, it's been tough, especially because the note hopper left" she said and mike nodded "he left el a note too" he said and she nodded

They begun to get awkward with each other

Bailey and Dustin got home and bailey went over to her room and closed the door

She sighed and looked at the floor

She took off her shoes and grabbed the piece of paper and laid back on her bed

She unfolded the paper and smiled

She re-read the paper

She smiled as she read the letter

She was going to keep this with her, forever
