Friday morning

The wheelers and bailey all sat at the table eating food

"So bailey your sadly gonna be alone today, but you could feel free to stay up here and watch tv" mrs wheeler and said bailey nodded while eating her pancake

"Okay" Bailey said

Mrs Wheeler didn't know about her powers, neither did mr Wheeler, mike just lied and said that the school was too full so bailey had no school to go to

Mike also lied about why bailey had to stay in his basement

But mrs Wheeler was still accepting towards the girl because she was kind and well behaved

Bailey sat in the basement singing songs and playing with the d&d pieces

She smiled as she thought of Will asking to play d&d for the whole summer, she wished she knew how to play better so she could have played with him but it was too late

He was over the game by the time summer was over

She was happy but sad that will gave his d&d set away, it was a good thing to do

Bailey sighed being bored

She didn't have anything to do, she absolutely hated having to stay inside with no entertainment

She walked up the basement stairs and opened the door

She walked into the living room and sat in the la-Z-boy couch

She threw her hands off the sides

She felt a latch on the seat and he grabbed it out of curiosity

She then pulled it making the bottom of it pop out

She gasped and stood up off it immediately

It had scared the girl

She furrowed her eyebrows at the weird couch and slowly sat back down

She pulled the latch again but nothing happened she furrowed her eyebrows not knowing how to pull it down

The girl stood back up and pressed the bottom down making the seat go back to normal

Her eyes widened with excitement and she smiled

She then sat on the floor in front on the tv and started going through the channels soon it landed on a bunch of animated animals running around and smoke

Baileys eyes widened at all the colors, excitement, explosions, and noise

She was really into the tv show until the front door opened

She peaked over

"Hi mike" she said and started watching the tv again "-wait mike? What are you doing back so early?" She asked the boy "school didn't as planned, I had to leave" he said and the girl instantly got up and walked over to the boy

She observed the boys face and gasped "what happened" she asked while softly holding his chin

"Nothing serious" mike said and bailey furrowed her eyebrows "nothing serious? Mike your forehead is bleeding" bailey said softly and mike sighed "I got into an accident" he said "how?" She asked "I-ummm-so..." the boy stammered not finding the right words while bailey waited for his answer "some stupid jerk tripped me" he sighed defeatedly

Bailey sighed and grabbed the boys hand "I can help clean up your face" she said and they walked upstairs to the bathroom

Bailey grabbed a towel and ran warm water over it

She lightly squeezed out the water and he walked over mike

She stood on her toes trying to reach his face

"Here" mike said while walking over to the toilet and he closed the lid and sat in the toilet

"Thanks" bailey said and laughed

Mike watched as the girl concentrated on his face "it's not bad, it's just a little scratch" bailey said and mike nodded "do you have disinfectant wipes and bandages?" Bailey asked "I have a couple in my room" mike said and bailey nodded as the boy got up and walked out of the bathroom and she followed behind him

"Wow...I've never been in your room" bailey said as she looked around and mike looked at the girl and smiled at the sight "I know, that's crazy to think of" mike said as bailey observed the picture of the boys younger holding a trophy

She smiled and walked up to mike "found them" mike said while turning around and the were face to face

The 2 went silent and stared into each other's eyes

"Oh-uh here" mike said while handing the girl the mini first aid kit "oh-thanks" bailey said and she took the box and picked up the things she needed to help the boy

Bailey laid on mikes floor as mike sat on his bed

Bailey always laid on the floor when she was bored, it was easy for the girl to just be in any position she wanted to be

It was another habit of baileys

"What does love feel like?" Bailey asked out if know where and mike raised an eyebrow at the girl "I'm just curious, I've never felt love before" bailey added "hopper loved you, he just didn't show it as much as a dad would" mike said and bailey looked at the boy "he did?" Bailey asked "of course he did, we also love you bailey, we might not say it but we do" mike said and bailey smiled "I wanna know what it feels like-like how do you feel when you feel love?" Bailey asked and mike sighed

"Well I feel a feeling in my stomach, like fluttery, it makes me stutter, or it makes it hard to be around the people that I love love, in a different way" he said "a different way?" She asked "Yea, like-dating, boyfriend and girlfriend" mike said "oh that make sense" bailey said

I feel that sometimes

The girl thought

"Then I did feel love before" the girl said with a smile
