Me and Simon had been best friends since we were 6 he protected me from a bully who was throwing sand at me. Ridiculous I know. Well he hit the bully and got in loads of trouble then me being grateful I picked him a flower growing in the nursery garden and gave it to him and we've been friends since. When we were in school he would hang out with me until Olatunji came along. Whenever Simon was around 'JJ' we call him would be nice to me but as soon as Simon was gone he would bully me to put it. JJ was a dick to me and he would always call me names sometimes even hit me. As we went into high school JJ's bullying got worse and Simon became popular and forgot about me. JJ would always tease me about Simon and how he just left because he dosen't want to see me. That's when Thomas came around my first boyfriend. He was a lot like Simon he was tall, skinny and really funny. Him and JJ would get in fights all the time because the bullying but JJ would always walk away and toward Simon. Whenever I looked toward Simon it seemed he didn't care. After me and Thomas broke up he leaked information about me. Then it all went to shit I was known as the 'alcoholic' of the school. I got in trouble with the police, started hanging out with the wrong people and I would hardly stay over at my house it would always be a mates house. Only problem my mates were older than me so they weren't in my school so in school I was the troublemaker with no friends, always getting in fights, always getting suspended for being drunk into school. I remember getting in a fight with JJ's girlfriend at the time and knocked her out. It felt great to finally get back at JJ. Simon had noticed me becoming different but I really couldn't care less about him right now. As it came to my last year of high school I started youtube because I knew I wasn't going anywhere in life at this point. That's when it hit me I wasn't going anywhere I had wasted my life with alcohol and drugs. I had no one to talk to because all my mates were either high or out right now. I then found out my parents are hardly ever home so I have the house to myself most of the time. My youtube channel actually started popping off all I did was makeup and talk. A year later I had 2 million subscribers and a few years later which is now I have 11 million subscribers I post way more stuff now. I also found out JJ and Simon both made channels and have a channel with a bunch of their friends called the 'Sidemen' what a dumb name. Well welcome to today the day Simon asked me to collab and me thinking he's only doing this to get more views because I have more subscribes but I said yes anyway don't know what was going through my mind. I'm on my way to Simon's house but the bad thing is JJ lives with him. I arrived and knocked on his door JJ answered. "Simon your friends here" JJ shouted never breaking eye contact. "JJ" I said sternly smiling sarcastically. "Y/N" he said rolling his eyes. Simon walked over "hi come in come in" said Simon. I walked in JJ moving out the way. "Hi just come in here my office" he said I just said nothing and followed him. "The reason I invited you was to apologise and i'm sorry I'm a dick" said Simon. "Yeah I know you are" I just said I couldn't be bothered arguing. "Look i'm sorry for leaving you and not being there for you when you needed someone" he said. I know he actually meant it so me being me decided to. "Yeah it's fine i'm sorry too" I said. "Good now lets film this video" he said smiling. "We are doing a one question go then all the Sidemen are coming round for a moresidemen video so you can meet them" Simon said. I didn't really want to meet them if they are anything like JJ. "Sounds good" I obviously lied. We filmed our video it was actually really fun to film and I laughed a lot but some people were out of order. "That was more fun than I expected" I said still laughing a little. Simon nodded smiling looking at me. He was just staring at me so I waved my hand in front of his face. He shook his head. "The guys will be here soon we can wait on the couch" he said blandly. Bit boring. I nodded and smiled as we walked out. We sat on the couch and I felt the presence of a arm lay on my shoulders. I contemplated if I should lean against him and if he would mind. I decided to do it I looked up at him after I was and he was bright red. Is that a good thing. We heard someone walking out so we both quickly spread apart when JJ came round the corner we both didn't make eye contact with him. "When are the boys coming over and when is she leaving" JJ rudely said. "You do realise you could ask me myself i'm right here" I snapped at him sick of his bullshit. He looked at me "Fine when are you leaving" he said. "After I meet your friends" I said. "No she's not leaving then we are going to hang out for a while" said Simon. I am? "Yeah I guess i'm leaving when Simon lets me" I said. JJ nodded. After 10 minutes after that conversation all the boys burst in. They stopped when they seen me. The first guy came up to me "Hi i'm Tobi" He said. "Y/N Simons friend from high school" I said. "So you were friends with JJ too" another boy piped up. "Not exactly" said JJ. Dickhead. "How not" said Tobi. "He bullied me" I said calmly. "I did not you annoyed me" said JJ "and you knocked out my girlfriend" he said. "Yeah because you called me names, fought my boyfriend, drove me to alcohol and drugs so I think it's fair" I said. Everyone stayed quiet. I met everyone after that I watched them film from behind the camera I couldn't stop looking at Simon though I didn't know why. After they were done me and Simon went into his room. There was this tension in the room that I knew we both felt. "I can't stand this anymore" said Simon. All of a sudden I felt lips on my lips I instantly kissed back. We both pulled away. "I've been wanting to do that since I met you" he said. I do feel i've always had this connection with Simon that is just more than a friendship but chose to ignore it. "Me too" I said
