Ezekiel's POV

We've been crawling around the small towns in Mexico trying to find Julieta. Miguel says he doesn't think she's with the asshole that kidnapped her, but somewhere hiding.
Of course I wanted to believe that, but my mind couldn't help but race with the possibility that she was hurt, or worse, dead.

"Eze! Come on, we're going to a new town. Reports have said that some new chick is running their block."

The two of us, plus Coco all rode out to this new town as carefully and quietly as we could. We heard the girl we're trying to see is ruthless with outsiders.
Our bikes could be heard from miles to come, and with our luck we were escorted to a mansion the moment we stepped foot into the small town.

As the SUVs pulled up to a gate, Angel winked twice, letting Coco and I know to be ready for anything.
A man stepped out of the house, a cellphone in hand.

"Madam will see you shortly, por favor, follow me."

The three of us warily followed the man into the house, none of us able to grab our guns as we had eyes everywhere on us.
I mentally cursed the situation, just hoping to make it out alive at this point.
We were led to a living room the size of our clubhouse, and told to sit on the couches. The leather crunched as we sat, Angel in the middle, trying to find a way out if needed.

The entire room screamed familiarity.

The couches were black leather, with complete white around the room, and silver to match. Everything matched, and I couldn't help but let a memory of Julieta saying this decor would one day be hers.
As I glanced around the room, three men came in and stood by every entrance in the room, all with their hands behind the backs looking straightforward.

"Welcome to my casa. What brings you boys here? Hm?"

I could see the gears in Angel's head turning rapidly, his face showing some type of recognition. Looking at Coco, I could see the same look on his face, which brought me to think this woman knew them somehow.
Angel stood up with his hands showing in the air, taking a small step forward. The woman's brown eyes seemed icy as she glared down at me, which confused me as I didn't even know her.

"You're the chick that left Julieta."

Wait- Julieta was into girls? Since when? Was she into both? I'm guessing since you know, Angel just said she left Julieta.

"And you're the new lover."

I took me a second to realize she was looking at me as she said that. I looked up before standing up to try and match her glare, but failed since I didn't know her.
She merely smirked at me, running a hand through her gelled back hair which told me she was nervous about the situation.

What seemed to be against her plan, guards outside the room could be heard yelling at someone to stop, and a female voice telling them to let her through. I knew that voice.
It was Julieta's voice. I smirked back at the woman standing in front of me, her face fallen of any wickedness.

Grunts sounded outside the door, banging, and then silence.

The doors to my right were flung open, a messy and slightly bloody Julieta standing in the doorway looking like a madwoman.
Julieta's eyes roamed the room until they found me, slowly raking up and down my body taking me in. I'm sure the biggest smile made it's way onto my face as I forgot about the woman and ran to her.
Her arms made their way around my neck, pulling me down to her in a passionate, needy kiss.

"Ezekiel."

I kissed her again, hugging her body into mine as tightly as possible. She stayed in my embrace until a throat was cleared. The two of us only pulled away to look at the glaring woman.
With a hand on her hip she huffed. Then turned to Angel and Coco to offer them a drink. "So you're the almighty Mayans she speaks so highly of."
