Chapter 10

Tiana

Things were tense between Tiana and Andre and it worsened when their parents arrived early from their business trip.

They were in the dining room eating when Jordan King, Their dad suddenly brought up Andre's suspension.

"The principal called me yesterday that he suspended you." Jordan King said.

"For fighting... With Damian." Sophia King, His mum added.

"Aren't you guys bestfriends?" Jordan King asked.

Andre nodded while Tiana looked away.

"So what happened?" Sophia king asked.

Andre shrugged. "We got into an argument." He replied.

Jordan King dropped his phone as he was busy texting his PA. "I heard he suspended you both.. I had to make a donation just to ensure this doesn't go on your permanent school record."

Andre rolled her eyes. "Like I care." He fired.

"Oh, you should because if I hear something like this again, I'm sending you to a military school to complete your senior year." Jordan King replied angrily.

"Because I got into a fight?" Andre asked glaring at his Dad.

"Yes, because you got into a fight which led to you being suspended." Jordan King replied. "If all these gets out, it could  spoil my image or the company's.. Next thing I will read on the internet is how the heir to the King's company is getting into fights and being suspended from school."

"I don't care about your fucking image or the company's!" Andre yelled.

Jordan King fired back. "Well you should because you are spending my fucking money and living in my goddamn house!" 

"Jordan.. Calm down pls and Andre don't talk to your father like that.. Tiana why are you not eating?" Sophia king said dropping her fork and facing her family.

"Nothing." Tiana muttered shoving the food into her mouth. Dinner with the whole family present is usually tense and awkward, she preferred ordering food and eating with Andre or eating out with Fallon.

Andre stood up suddenly. "I'm not hungry." He said and left ignoring his mum who told him to come back.

"His attitude is getting worse." Jordan King said.

"I have headache." Tiana lied standing up. "Goodnight." She added and left her parents in the dining room.

She walked up to Andre's room and was about to knock on his door, when she heard him yelling, she almost barged in before she noticed that he was on call and the person he was yelling at was Madison. The noise seem to grow louder and suddenly Andre hanged up, threw his phone on the bed before yelling fuck, minutes later he entered his bathroom.

Tiana contemplated whether to enter inside and settle things with him or just leave him alone. She decided to enter and settle things with her brother, as they have never gone this long without apologizing to each other.

She entered his room and sat down on his bed waiting for him to leave the bathroom.

Andre entered his bedroom freshly showered and noticed Tiana on his bed, he sighed. "What do you want?" He asked tiredly.

Tiana shifted closer to where he was sitting. "I'm sorry." She muttered. "I know you don't like the idea of Damian and me together."

"You're fucking right.. I don't."

"And I hate that you fought with him because of me."

"Yes, because I warned him not to go near you." Andre replied.

"Why?"

"Why?.. Damian might be my bestfriend,  but you're my twin sister and he's a playboy.. I don't want him to use you like he uses other girls." He explained.

"I like him." Tiana whispered.

"I know and that's why I fought with him."

"You know? How... How did you know?" Tiana asks surprised.

"I'm your twin brother T, I know you well."

"I guess, but I can't help that I like him." She replied. "I just don't want things to be awkward around us."

"Me too... I'm sorry."

Tiana opened her arms and Andre moved closer to her and hugged her. "When do you think mum and dad will leave." She asked.

Andre frowned. "I don't know but I hope it is soon."

"Sorry about Dad."

Andre shrugged. "It's ok."

"I heard you yelling at Madison on the phone." Tiana said, curious about what happened between them.

"Yeah, she told me to accompany her to one dinner thing her Dad is hosting, told her i'm not in the mood and next thing she started shouting that I have not really had her time since Elena got here and accused me of cheating on her.. I just got mad and yelled at her for being so self centered and hanged up." Andre explained resting his head on the pillow.

"You like Elena don't you?" Tiana asked.

Andre nodded. "Yeah."

"Then why don't you date her?"

"It's complicated, I'm dating Madison."

Tiana rolled her eyes. "I prefer Elena."

"You're saying that because you don't like Madison."

"Pls, nobody likes her except you, we just tolerate her." Tiana replied laughing.

"Ok, enough about my girlfriend."

"Alright... Should we watch a movie then?" Tiana asked.

"Yeah, it's been long we watched a movie together... Arrow or Game of Thrones?"

"Game of Thrones!" Tiana yelled excitedly.

"Good." Andre said, stood up and opened his fridge bringing out popcorn, he rejoined his sister on the bed, passed her popcorn and they started watching the movie together.

Short chapter I know😢.. But at least Tiana and Andre settled the issue between them!😇😍
