Chapter 31

Elena

Elena was on lying on her bed, Alexis had taken Diego to a private hospital and later to the Waldorf Astoria hotel, Andre went home after she refused to see or talk to him, she couldn't stay alone in her big house and begged Damian to stay with her and he agreed.

He went downstairs to get her white wine and chocolates and his phone which he left on her reading table has been ringing incessantly.

Damian entered her room holding a bottle of white wine, two wine glasses and different brands of chocolates.

"Planning on joining you." He explained as he sat near Elena on the bed and opened the wine and poured for the both of them.

His phone rang again, he checked the caller and declined the call.

Elena noticed and asked. "Who is that?"

"Tiana." He replied unwrapping the chocolate and eating it.

"Why? Is it because of what happened?"

"No, I really don't feel like talking to her." Damian replied.

"Why?"

"We had a little misunderstanding this morning.. She's been acting jealous and possessive since we left The Hamptons.. I'm fucking tired of her attitude."

"Sorry, does she have a reason to be jealous?"

"No! I swear I've not been with any other girl since we started dating."

"Oh, I don't know maybe she's just worried or something.. She likes you a lot Damian." Elena said.

"I like her too.. Anyways let's forget about my relationship... What's the deal with Diego?" Damian asked.

"He's my ex.. I broke up with him before I left Spain.. He never got over it and he showed up yesterday.. I wasn't expecting him." She explained.

"Oh.. The break up wasn't mutual I guess... Alexis convinced him not to press charges though."

"Thank God, his father is very powerful and he's the only son... Diego is trouble.. One of the reasons we broke up."

"Relationship is overrated."

"Tell me about it, I don't even know how to face Andre tomorrow, I mean God he almost killed Diego." Elena said filling her glass with more wine.

"Andre has anger issues, he doesn't really think before he acts but i'm sure Diego really provoked him.. He really cares about you Elena.. I'm sorry about what happened today." Damian replied.

"I care about him too.. But he went too far today Damian.. I don't want to talk about him anymore."

"Alright, what should we do.. I'm already feeling tipsy."

Elena laughed. "Me too."

"You know it's been long I spent time with you.. I miss my bestie." Damian said.

"I miss you too.. Should we go to the Hot tub?" Elena asked standing up from the bed.

"Hell yeah.. We will need more wine though." Damian replied and he also stood up from the bed.

"Alright, I will get it.. Will meet you in the Hot tub." Elena said to Damian.

"Alright and bring more chocolates!" Damian added.

Madison was walking towards the lobby of the Waldorf Astoria hotel with one of her father's teenage star in his latest teen movie when she spotted a guy that looks exactly like Diego Fernandes but the person was limping and had bruises on his face.
