Chapter 10: Forbidden
Alexa's Point of View
I couldn't sleep well until now. It made me think deeper like I was killed by my conscience. It made me think of Shaknown right now. I did whatsoever just to close my eyes and start sleeping but still I remembered everything.
Ako nalang mag-isa ritong gising. My two friends are now sleeping next to me. It is a sign of intoxication.
Another night with serenity amidst the calmness apartment. Napakatahimik ang buong paligid kaya binuksan ko nalang ang cellphone ko para magbasa ng nobela sa wattpad. This is the only way to escape boredoms.
As I am reading the chapter 27 of Love Affliction, someone is texting me. I don't know who is this but the message made me intrigued and confused of who's this unkown person behind this number. Agad kong tinignan ang bintana sa labas. We are at the second floor of the apartment kaya kitang-kita ko kung sino ang nasa labas.
It's Eros who message me to go outside. At dahil wala akong load dito ay chinat ko na lamang siya sa messenger niya. After that, he calls me and said. “Lumabas ka, bored ako ngayon.”
“Hindi na ako puweding lumabas pa. Ala-una na ng umaga, curfew na sa aming apartment kanina pa.” Pagpapa-alam ko sa kanya. It is really hard to go out of this apartment sa ngayong oras. Householder is quite strict. Kapag lalabag ako sa house rules dito ay siguradong hindi ito mag-aalinlangang palayasin ako rito sa apartment.
“High grades or low grades?” Matipid niyang tanong sa linya ng telepono. “Eros, please bawal talaga. May next time pa naman.” I said lowly to please him.
“Lumabas ka!” Eros raised his voice.
It made me panic kaya binilisan kong lumabas ng kwarto at bumaba ng apartment. Naghanap ako ng bukas na pintuan rito at sa awa ng diyos ay nakita ko ang kusina na bukas ito. I quickly opened it with much care. Para walang makakakita sa'kin ditong lumabas.
“You're here.” He said while giving me a beamed of beautiful smile. “Sabing bawal eh.” I said and smilebitterly.
“Let's go.” He said and held my hand. It was just only two steps when the householder red-handed us running away from the apartments.
“ALEXAAA!” She shouted while pointing the beam of her big flashlight to us. “Patay tayo nito.” I uttered as I became edgy right now.
“Sa'n ka pupunta?” She continues asking with her loud voice. “Lalabas ka? Eh ala-una ikinse na, talagang sinusubukan mo ako ah!” Patuloy na pagsigaw niya rito.
Eros let go of my right hand from grips. He walk slowly with heavy steps towards Manang Luna, the householder. He draws money from his wallet and slapped it literally to her to somehow shut her mouth off.
“Eat that money and never shout again or else I'll kill you.” Eros said while seriously intimidating the householder. “Yes-yes.” She agreed.
“At h'wag na 'wag mong sabihin sa kahit kanino na lumabas kami ni Alex.” He added as he frightened Manang Luna. “Okay-okay, promise po.” She replied.
Eros could have freaked out and started smashing the apartments up. Ito ay sanhi ng pagiging masaya dahil natakot niya ang householder.
“Alex! Huy, isama mo naman kami.” Narinig kong may tumawag sa taas kaya agad ko itong nilingon. I saw them calling me and simultaneously waving their hands. I looked at Eros and he just smiled at me.
“Tara.” Sabi ko sa kanila at agad naman itong nagmamadali. Wala pang tatlumpung sigundo ay nakalabas na agad ito.
“Oops.” Lovely pointed his hand to Manang Luna. “Binayaran ka na. Kaya 'wag ka ng magsalita pa.” Dagdag naman ni Jenny nito.
