Chapter 21: Accusations

Alexa’s Point of View

It's been two days had passed since we returned back to our hometown. Nangan Island is such a great place and perfect for vacation. Our 3 days and 2 nights of staying there became a nonsensical vacation. Maraming nangyaring hindi maganda sa islang iyon dulot ng kagaguhang ginawa ni Eros. He ruined his plans, purpose and everything.

Yet, Alexus Magnus has been part of that history. I always remember him. I am grateful to have him on that night, he is such a pain reliever. Kaso sinira ni Eros ang sandaling makilala ko at makasama siya. But I won't be sad dahil nagpalitan kami ng cellphone number just to continue our communication. To the extent that he was sent me a friend request on my facebook account.

The night was over! Balik na naman sa ordinaryong buhay namin dito. I am preparing for our breakfast since I was the one who wake up first. At natapos na rin akong maligo kanina pa.

“Best, best.” I wake them up. “What, Alex?” Lovely asks me while stretching her body.

“Kain na tayo. Hali na kayo.” Sabi ko sa kanila habang nakaupo sa kotson ni Jenny. “Napaka-aga mo naman gumising. Ano bang meron?” Jenny asked at sabay bumangon sa kanyang higaan at tulalang nakatingin sa baba.

“Ordinaryong buhay na naman, Jenny kaya gumising na kayo. It's Mrs. Tejada's Personal Development subject. Don't expect that we will have our hero again, Eros will no longer do that.” Sabi ko rito sa kanila at sabay naman itong tumayo.

Pumuwesto na ako rito sa upuan. Jenny and Lovely did it too. I gently squeeze the ketchup and put it on the egg. Pagkatapos ay sumubo na ako ng kanin at ulam dito. Gaya ng dati ako pa rin 'yong nauunang matapos kumain sa kanilang dalawa. Remember, I have proper diet.

We are waiting here for a tricycle to grab us. Drivers are totally different from what the other cities. It's really opposite from us kasi kapag sa malalaking siyudad ng Metro Manila bukang-liwayway pa lang ay nakaparada na ang mga sasakyan ngunit dito sa subdivision namin alas otso pasado po silang mag-umpisang magmamaneho.

After a couple of hours ay sa wakas may dumaan ding traysikel dito.

“Sa Clemton High po, Manong.” Saad ko kay Manong ditong huminto sa amin. “Tara, maswerte kayo roon din ako pupunta. May pinapahatid kasi ang anak ko.” The driver smilingly said.

“Ay mabuti rin po kami nalang ang maghahatid niyan sa anak mo para makapasada ka na po, Manong.” Wika ko sa kanya. “Ano po ba pangalan ng anak mo, Manong?” Tanong ni Jenny dito.

“Ahh, Rex Santillan.” When the driver answers jenny's question it made hesitant to believe him.

Rex Santillan looks like a wealthy student that's why they often call him a role model. Hindi naman siguro puweding ampon lang siya o may nagpapa-aral sa kanya. Then if he will going to claim Rex as his biological son I will salute Rex and him as a great father. Hindi sinayang ni Rex ang perang pinapa-aral sa kanyang ama. Rex Santillan was the president of the opossing partylist. He's smart and good-looking. He knows how to handle government, he's platforms were strong but unfortunately he lose because of Eros' popularity.

“Talaga po bang anak ni'yo si Rex?” Pagkaklaro ni Lovely sa kanya. “Oo, bakit?” Then driver asks. “Kasi 'yong anak niyo sobrang talino sa eskwela.” Lovely said while the drive just smiled at her.
