"John, you can't just walk out!" She followed me down the stairs as my suitcase was in my hand. "Really?" I opened the front door to the starry night. As I stepped to exit, her cold hand touched my arm. "John, we're supposed to be a team. Brie and Randy need us so they can get back on track!" I dropped my suitcase feeling my blood boil.
"That's all you talk about! How me and you can get Brie and Randy together or back on the right track! Meanwhile, our relationship is down the drain. You are obsessed with making us appear as a healthy loving couple rather than having us BE a healthy living couple." She stood there, crying her eyes out.
"I've bought you everything you wanted just so you could impress the public. That's all you cared about. Not me, not this relationship, just YOU! I just, I just need some time to think." She nodded and I walked out to my car, loaded my stuff, and drove to Dave's house. As I was driving I couldn't help the tears that came from my eyes. I'm so tired.
