This was a bad idea.

A really bad idea.

Hosoek sits in your living room. Drinking soda silently while staring at the muted television. You glance towards Jimin's room, biting down on your lip as you watch him sleep peacefully.

He's going to wake up soon.

But Hosoek was downstairs and you had no fucking idea how this whole situation was going to play out.

You start walking down the stairs, stressful playing with your lips between your fingertips, the guilt mentally eating away your thoughts and can't help but feel some kind of regret.

Fuck, you actually felt sick.

This was truly, a bad idea.

"I think I should go, "Hosoek musters, " You look like you're regretting it."

Crap. Jimin really wasn't joking when he said you were an open book. You grab a pan, deciding to start making some pancakes for Jimin just in case he was going to mad at you.

"It's not that, "You mumble, "Him and I just got on good terms...I'm just scared this will break us apart again. But you have some explaining to do - the more we postpone it, the more it will bothering me. So it's now or never."

"Kitten, "

Shit.

Your eyes widen, picking up the pace out if the kitchen before nervously making your way to your shirtless boyfriend.

"G-Good Morning Chim, "

He wipes his eyes tiredly, flashing you his teeth before leaning down to kiss your forehead. You relish his touch, taking comfort from his warmth as he turned you around and starts making his way to the kitchen.

"I think I want to make breakfast today, "

You hum in response, eyes wide while your heart kept beating the fastest it's ever had. You could feel your body temperature rising and your anxiety begin to flow within your veins. For the first time in a long time - you were actually scared of what might happen.

Hosoek shuffles to his feet and he waits for Jimin to acknowledge him while you were having a mini-mental breakdown.

Jimin lifts his head from your shoulder, his eyes meeting Hosoek and the kitchen instantly falls silent.

"Hear him out, " You interject, " Before you say anything please sit down and just...listen."

"But why is he here?"Jimin looks down at you with sad eyes, and your heart almost shatters."Kitten, I am not ready."

This wasn't what you wanted, seeing the way his bottom lip pouted out while looking upset was enough to have you really regret the situation

"Jimin, he says he has been trying to get a hold of you and he needs to tell us something that is important." You gulp, " His a brother - one you've always wanted. We can't keep pushing this away, let's talk it out and let it go. Then you can decide what to do but baby please just...hear him out."

He looks at you with pleading eyes but you can only beg with yours.

"Please Jimin, "You whisper, " I don't want you to live in regret, wondering what could've happened if you guys did speak but didn't."

The men have eye contact for a brief moment and Jimin sighs and decides to sit by the kitchen isle. You grab a chair and take it to the other side for Hosoek, gesturing him to sit down before making your way towards your boyfriend and sitting beside him. Jimin stares down at his fingers, waiting for Hosoek to start.

You give the nervous man the go-ahead and he gulps down before starting

"It all started the night you asked me to pick Star up."

~
"Hey, "

"Hey bro, " Hosoek chirps, "Are you good?"

He in stressfully runs his hand through his hair while glancing down at your unconscious self on the hospital bed. Hooked to machines that monitored your heart rate - as well as the drip machine due to hydration. Your face swells up, showing evidence that you had indeed been crying for hours.

"Y/n had a really bad anxiety attack and she's was so hysterical that I didn't know what to do, " Jimin says, "I was supposed to go on my date with Star but I can't leave Y/n here at the hospital all on her own."

~

"You asked me to go and pick her up. And I had no problem with it, " Hosoek gulps, " So I went to go and pick her up. And she was so drunk."

~

"Where is Jimin?" Star slurs, " I want my boyfriend!"

Hosoek scoffs, buckling her seatbelt urgently before shoving the door shut. He couldn't help but cringe at how much she smelt like alcohol.

"Jimin is with Y/n, "He states, " You aren't seeing him tonight."

"I hate her, " She mumbles, " She ruins everything. This is the second time she's ruined something for us. Sometimes I swear his in love with her and not with me."

Hosoek almost slams against the breaks before glaring at the girl.

"Hate is a strong word, " He grits, " And Y/n and Jimin have always been close throughout their lives. You can't just expect him to stop caring for her just because he has a girlfriend."

~

"She was riling herself up." Hosoek shakes his head, "And I could hear her voice starting to crack and when she started crying... I couldn't help but feel bad for her."

That was no surprise. Hosoek was always a mood lifter. Always the one bringing in happiness to many people's lives. Seeing Star cry - really must be hit home from him.

"When we got to her apartment she asked me for a hug. And me being the idiot I was - I gave it to her...but as my arms wrapped around her. She broke down. Crying so hard that she kept hiccupping and for a moment I could hear how hurt she was."

Jimin glances up at his best friend, tears heavy in Hosoek's eyes.

"I should've left after that." He confesses before shaking his head."I should've told her that things were going to be okay and just leave her by her doorstop - but the more she kept crying - the more she was luring me in and when she invited me inside with tears in her eyes, I couldn't say no."

"And that was the first time I slept with her."
