Tom seems to be lost in a thought today. Oh well I knew to be focusing on getting some research done. Curses don't undo themselves. Unfortunately, so today Tom and I are in the library reading.

"Hey Mint." Tom said, I looked up from my and he continued. "You've never mentioned how you feel about all this." Weird I somehow didn't stop to think my opinion mattered to him. I know that seems dumb, but I guess it just didn't seem all the likely. But I guess it should since we are stuck with each other.

"I haven't really bothered."

"What?"

"I haven't bothered to really think about how it makes me feel."

"Why?"

"I don't know, I just haven't been given to much reason as to why I should."

"Not even the whole you nearly dying thing?"

"You just had to remind me didn't you. Besides I didn't die now did I?" I said finally looking up from my book.

"That's true." He said rubbing the back of his neck. I giggled and could've seen him blush a little. Weird you'd think the dark prince would be more confident in himself. I looked at the grandfather clock that was built into one the bookshelves.

"We should be surfacing soon." I said closing my book. Tom let out a sigh and stood up setting his book aside.

"Need help putting that book away?" Tom asked holding a hand out to me. I thought for a moment before nodding and handing him my book. He put it back on it's high shelf. I waited for him and we walked to the exit together in silence. We even walked out of the secret library together. I headed to my room and him to go act like a normal Slytherin. Which he isn't and can never be again. I wonder if that wears him down any? Although I guess it could be exciting for some people.

"Tom can I ask you something?" I asked Tom when we were alone in my room after dinner. He sat up on my bed.

"Only if I get to ask you one, or multiple." Tom said looking at me. I thought for minute there's a game for that.

"Deal but to make it fair let's play a game." I said.

"A game?" Tom asked raising a eyebrow at me.

"Yeah it's we take turns answering each other's questions, we get a point for each question we answer." I explained

"I see." Tom said crossing his arms in front of his chest.

"You wanna start?" I asked. Tom chuckled a little before nodding.

"Sure." He said placing his hands on his knees. "So I've noticed that you're not allowed to make any potions by yourself and even then it's very little involvement, why is that?" He asked.

"I kept blowing things up even when they shouldn't have, and according to Snape it made some "strange results" whatever that means." I explained. He looked at me highly confused. "My turn." I said Tom sat up straight "Does is feel weird pretending to be like a normal Slytherin?" I asked him, Tom chuckled before answering.

"I find it to be kind of fun to be honest, and I have problem lying after all." He explained "besides I'm finding that being stuck with you is rather entertaining."

"Why?" I couldn't help but ask.

"Hey now it's my turn." Tom said laughing a little. I let a groan of frustration which made Tom laugh even louder.

"So my turn again." Tom said, I nodded it was his turn again. "I didn't meet the rest of your family, well besides your uncle, why?"

"Well the rest of them were at the main house or studying abroad, as for why no one visited, well my Dad will probably explain the next time I see him."

"I see well it's your turn." Tom said.

"Finally!" I said throwing my hands in the air, Tom laughed. "Why do you find being stuck with me entertaining?" Tom sat there laughing for a bit before answering.

"Because of how you act, I can't help but enjoy your company, what can I say I like spending time with you." He said again blushing a little.

"Well I have been told that I'm great fun to talk to so I guess it makes a little sense." I said. Tom laid back down on my bed.

"Well it's my turn, if you were a house other than Ravenclaw what do you think you would be?" Tom asked. I thought for a moment before answering, which would I be? I don't go head in into things and I to be honest there I times I focus maybe to much on a single goal.

"Slytherin." I answered. Tom shot up with wide eyes.

"What?! Why?!" Tom shouted with a smile. I had started laughing as sound as he shot up and still wasn't done.

"It's my turn." I said still laughing "and it's getting late, I need to get some sleep, do you even sleep?" I asked.

"Yes I do, now why do you think you'd be a Slytherin?" Tom asked franticly I laughed. "Mint!" He whined, which made me laugh more.

"Let me get changed then we can play until I fall asleep." I said. He quickly disappeared and I place the book in my desk. I got dressed into some snuggly pjs before taking the book out of my drawer. I didn't have to time be weird and stare because just as I opened the draw Tom popped out and was all kinds of excited. I plopped down on my bed.

"Mint answer my question." Tom said impatiently.

"Okay okay, Slytherin being the house of ambition I think it fits, I mean do intend to break the curse on my family, and I won't stop until I do." I explained, Tom shivered and bit down on his lip. I arched a eyebrow at him, is he okay? I didn't ask cause it would cost me a turn, but I couldn't help but question it. We kept going lat into the night asking all kinds of questions including favorite color, food, animals, class you name it. The game provided me with some useful information about, and I can say that I really got to know him. I can also day that I had fun getting to know Tom, even if he is the "Dark Prince."
