Sleepless (Show)

This short (yes I'll try to keep it actually short) one shot is going to be in the Show universe and is set shortly after Skybound when Jay has nightmares about Nadakhan and everything that happened on Misfortunes Keep.

(No One's POV)

It was a dark and stormy night on the Destiny's Bounty. All the ninja were sleeping soundly, except for everyone's favorite blue ninja. He and Nya were sleeping together in their shared room, Nya was sleeping fine beside Jay, but Jay was not. He was tossing and turning and sweating profoundly, these nightmares have been getting out of hand. Nya has tried to ask him about them earlier but Jay always says it's fine.

(Jay's POV)

I woke up gasping for air, god these nightmares are getting worse every night. In this nightmare Nya was killed by Nadakhan right in front of me, even using my own sword. I heard Nya groaning beside me, oh great now I've gone and woken her up. Nya sat up sleepily and turned to me with her eyes half open

"Jay? What's wrong?" Nya yawned

"Oh uh it's nothing Nya just uh go back to um sleep" I tried to reassure my girlfriend

"Are you sure Jay? This has been happening a lot recently" Nya said worried

"Oh it's nothing Nya just uh a little nightmare that's all" I again tried to reassure her

"Jay I'm not going to let you lie to me again, please Jay just tell me what's wrong" Nya said while placing her hand onto mine

"Oh okay Nya, I could never lie to you" I told her

"Alright well get to explaining zap trap" Nya jokingly said

"Well for the last few um nights I've been having these uh kind of nightmares" Jay explained

"And what are the nightmares about honey?" Nya asked the frightened lightning ninja

"Well they're always about what happened with Nadakhan and him killing you and I some times remember those awful nights on Misfortunes Keep where they would abuse me and force me to clean the ship all day and all night" I said to my water ninja girlfriend

"Well I'm sorry about what they did to you Jay, I truly am. I also had a few nightmares when you were captured on Misfortunes Keep" Nya told me

"R-r-really? But you're so strong! I never thought you would ever have a nightmare!" I said to Nya

Nya giggled at my little compliment

"I'm serious Jay, I thought I lost you for good Jay, I could never go on without you" Nya said holding back tears

"I could never go on without you either Nya, you're my everything" I said with a blush making Nya blush too

"Well thank you very much for that comment Jay, and I will never leave your side. So please try to calm down and relax. I'm not going to die or go anywhere" Nya said hold holding my hand tightly

"Thank you for reassuring me Nya, hopefully these nightmares will stop now" I said to my beautiful girlfriend

"No problem Jay, now come on, let's get some rest. Lloyd will have us training extra together if we stay up late" Nya told me

"Well I for one wouldn't mind spending more time with my gorgeous girlfriend" I said making Nya blush and look away

"Oh Jay Walker, you cheeky ninja" Nya said while pressing her lips against mine. I swear every time we kiss it feels like heaven.

(No One's POV)

After that one night Jay never had another nightmare about Nadakhan ever again, all thanks to his girlfriend Nya
