It was a quiet night at Sensei Garmadon's training temple, the ninja had just learned of the Overlord's new digital return and were currently on the run from the Overlord's evil Zane copycat Nindroids. Sensei Garmadon was very happy to let his brother and his students stay at his temple until they came up with a plan to defeat the digital threat, but three of the students were thinking of a different type of plan

Jay, Nya and Cole were currently in a very difficult situation, all because of a love machine. Long story short Nya had tried it out and Cole was revealed to be her perfect match, this caused the two best friends to split apart and fight over the Samurai, Nya hated this and broke up with Jay and currently will not choose either of them 

All of the ninja and their sensei were currently sleeping soundly in their own small rooms in Sensei Garmadon's temple, as our heroes were sleeping peacefully, an evil threat was slowly approaching. General Cryptor, the Overlord's right hand Nindroid had successfully tracked down the ninja's new hideout, he was following orders from the Overlord to kidnap one ninja at a time, leaving the golden ninja to last 

Cryptor carefully and quietly climbed up the side of the temple and peeked into the windows to see which ninja to take first, his cold robotic eyes eventually found  Nya sleeping peacefully in her bed. Cryptor smiled evilly under his mask and carefully opened the window and snuck inside as quiet as a mouse. Cryptor thought that Nya would be the perfect first target due to her less muscular build and size, Cryptor took out his black bag and quickly swooped Nya up into the bag and leapt out of the window and hopped into his Nindroid tank and sped away before the ninja could stop him 

Morning at the temple was normal, the ninja all woke up and enjoyed some breakfast with Sensei Garmadon, as the ninja were enjoying their time Kai busted into the kitchen looking extremely worried and frightened 

"Oh hey Kai, you look a bit worried, what's wrong?" Cole asked Kai

"Nya isn't in her room! I think she was taken!" Kai said in distress making everyone stand up and rush to the Samurai's room

They busted down the door and looked at the destroyed room, Nya's bedsheets were all over the place on the floor suggesting a struggle, the window had been left open 

"It seems Nya has been taken by someone, who that is I do not know" Wu said stroking his long white beard 

"It must've been the Overlord!" Lloyd suggested 

"We must save her, we can not let the Overlord turn her evil" Zane said 

"No Zane, it is too dangerous. We could very much be walking into a trap" Sensei Garmadon said 

"What do you mean we can't save her! She's my sister!" Kai yelled at Sensei Garmadon angrily 

"Listen to my brother Kai, the Overlord could be setting us up for a trap" Wu said to Kai

"We can't just let her be taken Sensei!! She could be in danger!!" Jay said in frustration 

"Come on Jay listen to the Senseis, we can't risk Lloyd being caught and used by the Overlord" Cole said to Jay calmly only to anger the blue ninja even more 

"UGH REALLY COLE?! YOU'RE TAKING THEIR SIDE?! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU APPARENTLY LOVING HER?!" Jay said enraged to Cole 

"We can't just rush to save Nya Jay, we have to be smart about it!" Cole snapped at Jay
