Blind Date (AU)

This one shot will be set in an AU in which Jay and Nya have never met! Finally something other than Movie or Show am I right? Anyways Zane sets Jay up on a date with one of Skylor's friends who turns out to be Nya! Enjoy :)

(Jay's POV)

Why does Zane have to do this! I don't need him getting involved in my love life! Sure I've hooked up with a few bad eggs but I can do this by myself, I'm not a child who needs their parent to do everything for them! Well Zane is pretty good at everything, so maybe he set me up with a model! Skylor did say that her friend was a perfect match for me, god I hope she's right, or I would've worn my fancy blue suit for nothing!

Zane pulled up at the restaurant and let me out of his car, damn this place was pretty fancy, thank god Zane is paying because I would not be able to afford this on a Junkyard salary!

"Okay Jay, just go in and tell them the reservation under the name of Zane Julian, then they'll bring you to your table where Skylor's friend will be sitting" Zane explained to me

"Yeah I know how a restaurant works Zane, but thank you for all of this, but if she's not my type I'm leaving okay?" I told my white haired friend who simply nodded

"Alright go get her!" Zane said pushing me into the restaurant. I walked up the guy with the reservation book and told him I was to be seated at the Zane Julian table, he then led me over to a nice table with a nice white tablecloth. When I sat down in my chair and looked at who was sitting across from me I couldn't believe it, she was a beautiful woman with brown eyes, red lipstick, a wonderful smile and black hair in a bob and she was wearing a beautiful red dress. Man I really hit the jackpot!

(Nya's POV)

"This guy better be worth my time Sky! I'm very busy at the Autobody shop!" I told Skylor while she was driving me to the restaurant

"Oh trust me he's just your type, Zane said he was an amazing guy who is also into mechanics and all that nerd stuff" Skylor chuckled making me playfully hit her in the arm

"Alright alright I'll give him a shot, but if he's like all of the other blind dates I swear I'll tell Kai about the time you-" But I was cut off by Skylor's hand covering my mouth

"I thought we said we would forget about that" Skylor said shooting me a death glare and lowering her hand and putting it back on the wheel

"Well here we are, remember say you're here for the Zane Julian table, enjoy your date!" Skylor said dropping me off and speeding away, no doubt she's going to see my brother and probably do something more than kissing. I shuddered just thinking about, I went in and got seated at the table until my date finally showed up, and damn Skylor wasn't kidding he is definitely my type! He has an eyebrow notch on his left eyebrow, he has the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen! His auburn hair is wonderful and his face is just so cute! He's even wearing my favourite colour, blue!

(Jay's POV)

"H-H-Hi I'm J-Jay" I said reaching out my hand for her to shake, damn Jay since when did you stutter?

"Nice to meet you Jay, I'm Nya" Nya said shaking my hand. She looks beautiful and even has a beautiful name!

"So uh tell me about yourself Nya" I said looking into her beautiful brown eyes

"Well I work with mechanics, my favourite colour is blue, I have a pretty hot headed brother and I love funny guys. Tell me about you Jay" Nya said looking into my eyes making me go a shade of red

"Oh uh well I also work with mechanics, my favourite colour is also blue and I can actually be pretty funny sometimes!" I say making Nya giggle

"I guess Skylor was right about you being my type" Nya said, just then a waiter came over to take our orders. I got the steak with chips and a glass of water while Nya got a salad with some garlic bread and a glass of water. We continued to chat some more and I made her laugh multiple times which really made my confidence go up a lot, we also found out we have a lot more in common!

(Nya's POV)

Jay really isn't like any of the other guys I dated, he's nice, kind, caring, cute, smart, funny and talented! I have to remember to thank Skylor for setting us up, oh and Zane too! Our orders arrived and we said thank you to the waiter and starting digging in

"Hey uh Nya? Not to sound rude or anything but um why did you order a salad? It's just I've tasted salad before and I'm not a huge fan of it" Jay said scratching the back of his neck making me giggle

"Well I'm trying to watch my figure, and I actually like how it tastes" I said taking a bite of my delicious salad and a sip of my glass of water

"Wow really? I mean you're body already looks beautiful!" Jay said to me making me turn bright red and laugh a bit

"Why thank you very much Jay, you also have quite the good body" I said looking him up and down making him also go a shade of red

"Hehe thanks Nya" Jay said eating his steak

We finished our meals and began walking down the street hand in hand talking about everything we know about mechanics, I think Jay might be the one

While we were walking we saw a park and decided to take a walk around it, while we were walking in the park we saw nice brown wooden bench and sat down on it to look at the stars. I rested my head on Jay's shoulder and could tell he was blushing, I sighed as I released the date was almost over

"I had an amazing time Jay" I said still leaning on his shoulder

"I did too Nya, here let me give you my number" Jay said pulling out his phone and putting it into mine

"Well I guess this means we're gonna go on more than one date huh" I said making Jay laugh, his laugh ended up making me laugh, it's so infectious!

"You know, there's one thing I really want to do before we end the date" I told Jay

"Oh? What's that?" Jay asked me

"This" I said grabbing Jay's jacket and pulling him in for a kiss in which he soon melted into, I cupped his face in my hands as we continued our kiss for a few more minutes until we finally pulled apart for air

"I guess another thing we have in common is that we both wanted to kiss each other" Jay chuckled making me giggle, our foreheads soon met and we both stared into each other's eyes, I never want this day to end
