Dupain-Cheng Apartment

RIIINNNGGG

At a moment's notice, the door opens wide open and I see Marinette. I smiled as she just looks at me. 

Y/N: Afternoon, Marinette!

Marinette: Y/N?! What in the-uh-what are you-

Y/N: Alya called me. She said you needed someone who speaks Chinese? Well, here I am. I'll do my best!

In the car>>>

Y/N: (to Marinette)So...where are we going?

Marinette: (to Y/N)Oh! We're headed to my Great Uncle's competition!

Y/N: Oh, cool! (to Marinette's Great Uncle)郑师傅, 这是您第一次来巴黎 吗? (translates into Master Cheng, is this your first time you've visited Paris?)

Master Cheng: 不, 我三十年前来到这里;你说一口流利的中国话. (translates into No, I have been here 30 years ago. You can speak Chinese fluently.)

Y/N: (bows)谢谢, 郑师傅. 原谅我的无礼, 郑师傅, 你懂英语?(translates into Thank you, Master Cheng. Pardon my rudeness, Master Cheng, but do you know some English?)

Master Cheng: Oh, my English very bad. Not like your Chinese.

Y/N: Don't worry, Master Cheng! Some of my relatives are just like that. But I'm surprised you can speak well for not knowing that you can speak English.

Marinette: Uh, me too.

Master Cheng: Oh, no, not good. My English not good.

I heard Marinette chuckle next to me. I continued to converse with Master Cheng. The car stops in front of Mayor Bourgeois' hotel. 

I opened my door and walked out of the car. I held the door open for Marinette.

Marinette: (smiles)Thanks, Y/N.

Y/N: 没问题.

Marinette: Wha-What?

I chuckled to myself as we started walking into the hotel.

Y/N: No problem. 

Marinette: Ohhh...

We were met with a crowd as Mayor Bourgeois walks towards Master Cheng. 

Mayor Bourgeois: Cheng Shifu, I am delighted and honored to have you on our final show, where you will have the chance to defeat all of the chefs who have competed thus far. 

We follow the mayor inside. Alec Cataldi, who is a show host for every show that is available, pops in and starts commentating.

Alec: Only one will be awarded the title of "World's Greatest Chef." The winner's dish will become the new Mayor's Special on the Grand Paris's menu! Tell us Cheng Shifu, what dish will you be honoring our panel with today?

Master Cheng looks at me.

Y/N: 你今天要用什么菜来纪念我们的小组呢?

Master Cheng: My dish is: Celestial soup.

Alec: Wow! I've heard so much about your legendary Celestial Soup, but today we'll actually get to taste it!

Then I watch as the camera stops recording. I looked at Master Cheng.
