Sarawat's POV.

Sarawat escaped to the Reading Room to evade all the concerned people flocking to see him. He took a seat and opened the notebooks. Might as well try and copy and make 'his own notes.' He rummaged for a pen in his bag and uncapped it. Sarawat sighed and began writing.

*

It was going terribly. He had no idea what he's writing. The pen kept slipping from his grip. He was ready to give up after fifteen minutes of struggle.

"Hey."

Sarawat looked up. Tine? "What are you doing here?"

"Can't you say hello?" Tine smiled. "How are you?" he asked, pointing at the injured hand.

Sarawat looked down at his hand. "Okay."

"I didn't think you'd go to a doctor by yourself."

"Mae took me," Sarawat admitted.

"Thought so." Tine walked around the table and sat down in the seat next to Sarawat. "Didn't peg you for someone who'd tell his mother."

"What did you think I'd do?"

Tine shrugged. "You are stubborn. Who knows." Sarawat glared. "What you doing here?"

"Trying to copy these notes."

"Really?" Tine leaned in to check. "Who gave you these? Your friends care about studies?"

"No. Some girls from my class."

"Wait. You are copying the notes that they made for you again? Why?"

"I can't accept it, of course." It wasn't entirely honest.

"Why not?"

"Why should I?"

"It is for free?" Tine looked at Sarawat's handwriting. "Can you even read this?"

"I don't freeload. And, no."

"Then why are you even trying?"

"Don't you ask too many questions?"

"Whatever."

"I am trying to practice how to write with my left hand." Tine gave him a 'are you stupid?' look. "I am going to miss out on a lot of class notes in the upcoming days. Can't depend on my friends for this." This was a load of bullshit.

He didn't buy it. "And?"

"And nothing."

"You could take pictures, you know? Saves time." Tine suggested.

"Writing helps you to remember better."

"Use your phone to type the notes in class. You can do it with your left hand too."  That's a good idea.

"For the first time, you said something useful," Sarawat said sarcastically. Tine made a face. "Why are you here? Come to meet Ai'Pear?"

"She's here?" Tine's head immediately snapped up to look around. "Where?" Of course, her name made him excited. It irritated Sarawat. "Why are you making that face again?"

"..."

"What?"

"Try to be quieter," Sarawat admonished, changing the topic. "This is a library."

"Sorry. Sorry," Tine apologised to the other people in the hall.

Sarawat picked the pen and restarted with his bad writing.
