"Mama!" Y/n ran into the house almost tripping over her own two feet as she hurriedly threw off her shoes and ran into the kitchen where her mother was cutting some vegetables, "Mama! I got 98% on my test! " She beamed holding the paper up. A large red circle in the corner has a 98 in it, there was a small note from the teacher.

Inko turned around and gave her a small smile, "That's great baby, what subject was it in?" She tossed the vegetables into the curry she was whipping up. She stirred the pot of vegetables and boiling water.

The girl dragged her foot in circles, smiling to herself, "Science, I think I did great compared to last time." Her mother's smile changed into a frown.

"You didn't use your quirk, did you?" The girl froze and dropped her foot. Her mother sighed and turned around completely. She wiped her hands on the apron that she was wearing as a disappointed look crossed Inko's face,"Y/n, I told you before you can't use your quirk on tests."

"I- I... I'm sorry," The girl sniffed dropping the test sheet to the tiled floor, "I was too scared to fail... I'm not like Izuku, I'm not smart like him."

Her mother placed a hand on her daughter's shoulder making her look up, "I love you so much Y/n, but you know that's wrong. I don't want you getting in trouble for things like this, ok?" The girl pulled her mother into a hug. Inko calmed the girl down and instantly Y/n felt calm.

"I'm sorry mama... " Large tears rolled down her cheeks, Inko swiped her teas away with the back of her hand.

"It's ok, baby... Now how 'bout you set up the table for dinner and give me a big smile?" Y/n gave a weak smile and kissed her mother on the cheek.

"Thanks mama... I love you"

"I love you too."

Y/n sat in a blindingly white cell, silently listening for any noises, "I can't believe I ended up here," She hummed to herself. The white walls of the room were going to drive her insane. She couldn't put herself out of her misery nor escape. And for the first time in her life, she felt... restricted. The feeling of constantly being watched bugged her out, the one way glass was annoying to even think of.

Y/n shifted slightly in her plain white garments. Ever since the hideout raid, she had this feeling of her mind being clear as a crystal yet so foggy. Her head was packed with memories to the brim. She had finally found out who Izuku Midoriya was, she finally found out who she was.

But even if she wanted to be with him, she couldn't. After all, she was currently in a mental institute somewhere in Musutafu for all she knew. She reminiscenced the image of the greenette in her head and how much he looked up to her. Tears welled up in her eyes as she let out a shaky sigh, all these years she had been a completely different person.
