"Deku," the blonde's eyes were brimming with hot tears. The led lights of the dorm shone down on his ash blonde hair and broad shoulders. A hand clutched the black tank top that he had on, "How... HOW COULD YOU HAVE TURNED YOUR BACK ON YOUR OWN FAMILY?!" His ruby eyes reflected the greenette in front of him. The dorm was empty, all of the students were currently in the UA building studying.
The sun sparkled against "Did you really think I didn't try?! Do you think I gave up that easily?!" He snapped back. He clenched his fists, his lower lip trembling. He dug his heel into the floor, grounding himself. Bakugou's eyes widened a smidge, only for a fleeting second though. He scoffed picking up the vacuum and turning it on, angrily cleaning the floor.
"If you really cared about her, you wouldn't have given up at all..." Midoriya was taken aback, "If I had known, I would've never given up! And the fact that she escaped your grasp twice is stupid! You had your chances, it shows how little you care!" Bakugou's cheeks were flushed red in anger, a drop of sweat rolling down his neck.
"I do care-"
"Well you don't care enough to try and find her yourself!" He huffed, turning up the vacuum speed to drown out Midoriya's voice. The greenette's eyes darkened, pupils glistening, "She was my friend too you know," The green eyed boy's fist loosened slightly, "When I saw her right there, I couldn't believe my eyes... the girl I had been crushing on since we were kids was right there. In front of me and I-... I didn't wake up. Do you know how painful it's been for me?"
"I know Kacchan..." Midoriya gazed down at the floor, "I'm incompetent. I love Y/n, as my sister, as my friend. Th-The shock of seeing that hair... the same striking green hair shocked me. Even now, I still can't believe she's alive," Bakugou's eyes softened slightly. He walked up to the crying greenette, placing a calloused hand on his shoulder.
He looked up to Bakugou and gave him a smile, "Next time... I can't let her go next time."

"It's just going to be a patrol! We'll be surveying the area!" Mirio gave him a reassuring smile. The boy was a third year student that had offered Izuku a chance to intern at Sir Nighteye's agency (which he gladly took). The two were going on a patrol.
The last few days had been busy, Midoriya had been shifted to the school dorms in order to keep him and the rest of his class safe. It was only two days after Y/n had escaped, the boy had been in and out of a daze.
Midoriya was then put into house arrest along with his childhood hood friend Katsuki Bakugou for getting in a fight after lights out. The two had been cleaning the house, clearing any garbage and removing every speck of dust from the dormitory.
When Izuku was released, he and the rest of his class had met the big three. The three strongest heroes UA had to offer, Nejire Hado, Tamaki Amajiki and Mirio Togata. The last had beaten the class in a friendly battle.
A few days later he had started his internship at Sir Nighteye's agency thanks to the blonde who was happily talking to him while patrolling.
Quite a few passersbys awed at the two interns, whispering about them. Mirio, Midoriya's senior, had given three women a quick wink and a wave to the passing ladies, "So Midoriya, what's your hero name?"
"Oh, it's Deku!" He smiled happily. The blonde tilted his head, and placed a hand under his chin. He blinked once, twice, then three times. His eyebrow arched in confusion.
"Huh? Deku? Like useless? That's a little odd," Midoriya shrugged.
"It's a childhood nickname, so what's yours?" he asked, brushing off his comment.
The blonde grinned from ear to ear and pointed a red gloved thumb at his chest, "It's Lemillion! It's going to be the number of people I save!" Midoriya gave a small round of applause.
"That's a lot of people Togata senpai!" The two interns continued walking through the city, turning the corner every so often. The soft pattering of feet resonated through the dark alleyway, and the sound of a heavy breathing followed. It trailed behind the light footsteps like a shadow.
Cherry red eyes darted back to see the gold hues of the man slowly catching up to her. Her eyes reflected the shining sun as she burst out of the alley. Her small frail body slammed into something, making the young girl fall backwards with a gasp. Birds flew overhead, a feather falling next to her hand. The warm sun blinded her, she lifted a bandaged arm to shield her eyes from it, wincing, "Hey, are you ok?"
The girl flinched, her body trembled with fear. The bandages on her legs brushed against the hard ground. She leaped into the boy's arms when she heard the all too familiar clicking of white shoes.
"Eri..."
