prologue

i've never met anyone who's been in love. if i'm honest about it, i'm glad. that's not a disease i'd ever wish upon anyone.

i've heard bad things about people who fall in love. i've even heard that in severe cases, love can even make you blind.

around 25 years ago, our country had a king whose heart was broken by a woman. ever since then, love was declared an illegal drug and to ever be under the influence of love or supply it was a criminal offense, punishable by death.

however, there are many people who still believe that love should be celebrated. it makes me sick just thinking about it.

large groups of people campaign against the laws at least once a week. i try to avoid the protests at all costs but they're very unpredictable and
sometimes they can get wild.
