Chapter 6

Christen's pov
Tobin ended up never coming back to the room. Well she did come to pick up all her things, but I wasn't there when she did. It's been two days since Daniëlle was with us and the girls won't shut up about her. They really enjoyed her being here with us.

Usually, we don't really look at our social medias when we're on huge events like this, but I was alone in my room on a day off. I didn't have anything else to do. So I opened Instagram and I was shocked. The stories the girls had put of Daniëlle with us were on everywhere. All the fans reposted them. Everyone was wondering why she was with us. That's it. Now I remember why we don't go on social medias. I closed the app and a smile appeared on my face when I saw the picture of us.

We haven't texted much since we're both pretty busy. I didn't think it was possible to miss someone as much as I missed her. I almost didn't take off her hoodie at all. The only thing was that it wasn't smelling like her anymore which was unfortunate.

The phone in my room started ringing so I replied. "Yes?" I answered. "Come to my room I have a problem" Mal told me. "Why does it not surprise me?" I sighed. "Hurry up!" She said before hanging up. These kids I can't with them anymore.

I put on some slippers and dragged myself all the way down the hall to her room. I hope they didn't put someone on fire again. I knocked but nobody opened. After a while, I knocked again. The door suddenly started to slowly open. What was she doing? Then the door opened fully.

"Missed me?" Oh my god! "Daan!" I squeaked as I almost tackled her to hug her. Behind her, I could see Mal and Kelley filming us. "How long have you been here?" I asked Daniëlle. "30 minutes I think. "You've been here for 30 minutes and you didn't come see me?" I frowned. "These two clowns were looking for the best way to surprise you. At first I just wanted to show up, but they told me to come here before. Also, we had a little accident" she pointed to a book that was half burned. "Well, the important part is that I'm here. And that they didn't set the room on fire" She laughed. "I can't believe you're here" I hugged her again. "I had a day off and Mal told me that you did too so I decided to come by because I missed you. And apparently you did too" she pulled the string of my hoodie. Well, her hoodie.

"We should go say hi to the other girls. They haven't stopped mentioning you for the last 2 days" I suggested. "Told you I was going to be their favorite. But yeah, we should definitely go" Daan said and was already on her way out. "But after that we'll go watch a movie in your room or something" She added. "What about us?" Kelley whined. "I guess I can share her a little bit. We'll go to my room the four of us" I conceded because I knew they wouldn't stop complaining otherwise.

We went to see pretty much everyone except three girls. Daniëlle really won everyone's heart in an evening. I took us two long hours. But we made it through and we were finally in my room about to watch a movie before we go to eat. "Group cuddle time?" Mal said. "Oh no no. There are two beds. I'm keeping this one to myself" I said pointing to Daan. "Yeah sorry. I love you guys but I'll just cuddle up with her" she said pulling me down on the bed with her. "Fine but we pick the movie" Kelley took control of the tv but I couldn't care less. Daniëlle was here.

"You're staring" She whispered without taking her eyes off the screen. "I'm just scared to look away and realize it's dream or something" I told her. "Can you feel that?" She said, caressing my cheek with her thumb. "Yes" I nodded. "And this?" She grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. "Yes" I nodded. "And this?" She leaned in and kissed the top of my head. "Yes" I murmured. "This is real. I'm here" she said. She was here. "They're so cute" I heard Mal whisper.

My phone started buzzing a lot so I checked what was going on. It was the team's snapchat group. We rarely really talk on it so I was wondering what was going on. I opened the videos only to see that Mal and Kelley didn't stop acting like paparazzis with Daan and I. Everyone was answering and watching us like it was a reality show. I showed the texts to Daniëlle and she just laughed. 'Did they kiss yet?' Rose asked. She grabbed my phone and took a picture of us with the caption 'no we didn't' and sent it. Then she put it back on the bed and focused on the movie again.
