Pregame AU
You are reading from Kaito's povYou know quite a lot about him, the boy in the distinctive cap. You know how he stares intensely at you in class, thinking you don't notice his piercing yet gentle gaze.
You also know that he knows a lot about you. He studies you, writes about you, thinks about you. You'd think at first that it'd bother you, his golden eyes. But somehow your aren't, and quite frankly, you don't seem to mind it.
Despite your knowledge of the boy, you can't seem to figure out why he's here, of all places. You notice his reaction to the loud music and bright multicolored lights flashing around in the dark room. He's uncomfortable, noticeably.
You begin to question his attendance until you feel the same golden gaze burning against his back. You begin to realize, or rather infer, that he's here to see you. Which wouldn't be that much of a stretch. You know that he's staring at you by now. You're dancing gracefully in his hooded eyes, like you're his idol. Which again, wouldn't be that much of a stretch.
You decide to tease him. Despite the distance, you make sure to stare back at him and his now shocked eyes. You smirk, feeling the red shade on his face. He looks away from you, naturally and expected from him.
You take this opportunity to walk towards him and get close to the boy because you like seeing his flustered expression. You like seeing him feel embarrassed.
As soon as your standing next to him, you lean down, and throw your arm on his shoulder. You can feel his shivers and trembles vibrating through your body. You feel successful, for once. What else are you supposed to feel proud of?
The boy still had his bony and delicate hand covering his mouth, as if he has something he's dying to say but doesn't want to. You want to hear it though, whatever he has to say. Even if it's just a mess of jumbled words or incoherent mumbles, you want to hear everything that spills out of that boy's mouth.
You wish to use your large hands for good, for once, and use them to pry his hand away, with all force, if necessary.
But you control yourself and decide not to. You don't want to scare him, oddly enough.
Instead you remove the cigar from your mouth and puff out the intoxicating smoke in front of him. He doesn't move though. He's unfazed and just sits there and takes it. You make a mental note of that and believe it's something good to know in case you end the day as you imagined.
You then ask him if he wants to step out of the house for a smoke. He's sweating now, probably because of the people around him. You soon regret puffing smoke in his porcelain like face.
Wether you're aware if he smokes or not, you know that he wouldn't decline an offer from you. Not an offer like that.
So you eventually found yourself outside with the boy, his head leaning carefully on your shoulder as you both lean against the outside wall of the house. You can tell how hesitant the boy is to be close to you, much less rest his head in your shoulder, as if one delicate touch from him would piss you off. You don't blame the boy though. You know you have a knack for intimidating people, and you use it your advantage all the time.
Lighting another cigar and pressing it to your lips, you take one long look at the dark sky, and the stars illuminating it. You sigh and watch the resting boy next to you. You turn back to the sky and reach your hand out. not really sure why you did what you did, you instantly let your arm flop on you side. You hesitate before bringing the cigarette back up to your mouth, where you let out a long foggy sigh of relief.
You look once more at the boy next to you, who seems completely knocked out.
This day really did end how you wanted it to.
I don't think I'm going to do day 7 because I have no ideas for a free day-
