Love Vs Heartbreak

I like the taste of slumber right before I wake up, which I only cash in when I do wake up.

I used to think I liked the notion of love, until i saw that notion break into countless shards of hate..

And I know it's strange, but i liked that.

I hate the build up, to wait..

A relationship's undying survival traits,

Conquering mountains by faith

Conjuring strength when all fails

And I know it's strange, but I hate that.

I love to watch the lovers fall from love's height

Before it all fades into tolerance's grim light,

And sure I hate watching the climb,

                               ....But the fall,

Helps me forget it all,
          
                  And yeah, I know it's strange

Maybe twisted...

But that's what I like.
