His gaze made the Sun weep
And the moon..
Dance in disbelief

The stars envied his skin
That twinkled far brighter
Than all their kin

His voice
Lulled the perilous noise
Of the thunder
Into cloudy sleep
For the words of his tongue
Were sweet
Would sweep
Even the wind
Off of her feet

And She
Was the bane of the world
Unloved
               Unwanted
                                  Unheard

For her face left much to be desired
Overweight
             Yet Overweighed
                                        By his smile

Emotional eating..
For she couldn't possibly compete in..
A drag race with a bicycle...
Realistically, speaking

Love letters littering
His locker
But her feelings were too strong
To stop her
From filling her pillow
With the ocean
Anticipating one of these girls
Would be chosen

Yet I would swim
In her pillow soaked sea
If only her lighthouse
Had ever noticed me

But Alas!
His Sun was too bright
And her moon rejoiced in her k-night
And my shadow only served
To bring to sight
These two..
Parallel celestial lights
