Mal woke up with a start, she haven't gotten any sleep since yesterday all she could think of was Evie, no Ava.

She sighed as she went to change her clothes and went outside. It was 7 and pretty sure Blue was still asleep, so she had told the care taker of the apartment to look after her daughter as she go for a walk

30 minutes later, after her walk Mal decided to stop by a coffee shop nearby and had took a quick breakfast before going back to her apartment. As she finished ordering a woman came in and Mal immediately recognized her as soon the woman talked

"Hey Casper" Mal was so caught up staring at the woman she didn't even notice her name was being called

"Mallory" mal snapped out of her thoughts as she went to get her order

"Hey it's you, again" ava said as she smiled as she saw mal

"Hey ava" mal greeted

"How do you do, mallory?" mal was stunned but kept it cool, she just smiled at ava

"Thanks" mal thanked as she get her order while ava talked to the 'Casper' guy

"Can I sit here?" mal looked up and was greeted by a smiling ava, she smiled back and nodded

"Uhmm, Ms. Ava your order would take five minutes more to prepare, is that okay?" Casper said/asked as Ava just smiled and gave him a thumbs up

"So, I guess you'll be waiting for 5 minutes more" ava chuckled and shake her head

"You aren't from here, are you?" mal just shake her head as she sip on her coffee

"How'd you guess that?" ava chuckled again

"Because you don't speak Hyperion" mal looked at her confused

"Why, how is that different if I don't speak Hyperion?" mal asked

"Well 'your order would take 5 minutes more to prepare' means we're still cooking your food and it would take an hour or so before you can eat" mal stared at her "And 'is that okay?' means, seriously it will take a long time"

"Then why aren't panicking or at least irritated?" mal knew evie was sometimes short patience

"Well I was irritated at it when I first got here but then I got used to it" ava shrugged

"So, aside from the art exhibit yesterday what are you doing in Hyperion heights?" ava asked

"Well, you know- aside from the exhibit just like you said I'm here to have at least a little vacation" mal said

"Oh, well have you ever been to the famous garden here at Hyperion heights?" mal shake her head

"We haven't really gotten the time to explore" mal said as Ava made 'oh' face

But then mal had came up with an idea, she smirked and looked at Ava "Hey since you're from here mind of you show us around?"

"Sure why not, it would be my pleasure" Ava smiled but then she realized something and looked around

"Hey, where's the little cutie?" mal looked at her confused but then realized she was looking for Blue

"Oh you mean blue, my daughter she's still asleep at the apartment" the answer mal had gave made at least somewhat made Ava go protective

"You left her alone?" Ava asked as she was about to freak out

"Oh don't worry she's with one of the apartment's care taker she's not alone" mal tried to ease the freaking out of Ava as the girl just nodded continue to talk
